As he, Phoebe, and Podcast headed outside the theater, Drew Dawson approached his nephew and wife, with the documents in hand.
"Well you two, read 'em and weep," Drew chuckled.
Drew's nephew and wife looked over at the paperwork and the look they presented was not happy at all.
"This is unbelievable!" Drew's nephew yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Is this some kind of a joke?!" the nephew's wife snapped.
"I hate to tell you both, but it's not a joke.
This place is as good as mine.
And I'm not going anywhere for a long time.
So you two can kiss your little gold mine goodbye," said Drew with a smug on his face.
"Gold mine?" asked Phoebe.
"What do mean?" added Podcast.
"Well, after the playhouse closed down, as I mentioned that many of the actors and musicians wanted to keep it open, so, on a whim, I asked the owner/theater manager, who must have thought I was crazy to buy it.
Luckily, Nancy and I had money saved up for what was to be used for our trip to New York, a total of $750 dollars and I gave it to the manager.
And my one nephew and his wife know just how much the property's worth and are very much eager to get their hands on it, believing that once I'm gone, they all get a piece of the estate.
However, James and Stacie here are in such a hurry to get their share, that they convince the rest of the family to put me in a nursing home, and get their shares early.
Well, the joke's on them, and everyone else, well, I think they better take a look at the will that's goes along with the deed," said Drew, as he handed the papers to officer Domingo.
The sheriff looked over the papers and said, "Yes, these are official documents."
"My uncle is lying!
Give me those!" James snapped as he grabbed the papers out of the sheriff's hands.
The nephew looked over at the documents over repeatedly, before he threw them on the ground.
His wife Stacie picked the papers off the ground and threw them back down as she barked, "Well, we don't have to stand for this!
We'll take you to court!"
"I'm afraid, judging by what I've seen, everything is all official and in order.
So, if you want to take Mr. Dawson to court and fight this, good luck, but your chances to win the case are slim to none," Officer Domingo pointed out.
Without saying another word, James and Stacie left in a huff.
As the two got in their car and drove or rather sped off, defeated that their plan didn't work.
"Well, looks like they walked away empty handed," said Podcast.
"Not really.
Those two will get it sooner or later," said officer Domingo, as he wrote something down in a notepad.
"What is it?" asked Phoebe.
"Well, I was able to get their license, track them down and mail them a nice speeding ticket."
Drew Dawson, Phoebe, Podcast and even the sheriff started laughing.
"Couldn't happen to a more deserving pair if you ask me, said Drew Dawson, who turned to Phoebe and Podcast said, Now then, "I'll tell you what I had in mind for the playhouse."

During the second part of the interview, Drew Dawson told Phoebe and Podcast what he wanted to do with the theater, which was to renovate and reopen it, in Nancy's name.
Phoebe and Podcast loved the idea, and told their new friend how they would help in anyway they could.
And so the plan was put into action.
It all began with Phoebe and Podcast, placed an ad in the town's local newspaper.
Once the word got out, residents in the local neighborhoods all wanted to lend a hand in the project.
Both students and faculity at Phoebe and Podcast's school, as well as Trevor and Lucky's school held fundraisers to buy supplies, donated items, and even went down to the playhouse to fix it up.
The renovation began at the end of September, countinuded on into October, where most of the hard work was completed, thanks to fall break at the schools, and just as the month of November was coming up, the playhouse was completed.

After weeks of hard work, the playhouse was ready to open.
The mayor of Summerville hosted the christening of the building.
Following a few words about the new playhouse, it was time for the host of the opening, Drew Dawson to speak.
"Thank you everyone.
It took a lot of time and hard work, but in the end, this playhouse turned into something incredible.
Something that took years in the making.
A place that Nancy loved.
She was so full of life, and dreams.
Nancy was the most beautiful girl, and she had radiance.
And it especially shone when she was on stage.
Her dreams of being on the Broadway stage sadly never happened.
But now, decades following that tragic night, I gather you all here to celebrate a place for those who have the same dreams and passion that Nancy had.
Besides showing plays, musicals, concerts, shows, this is a place where those who want to full-fill a career in acting, music, writing, set-designing directing can helm their crafts here.
And with that, it gives me great pleasure to open and welcome you all, including members of her family to the newly modeled Nancy Kidman Performing Arts And Learning Center."
The mayor handed Drew Dawson a pair of scissors, that cut the red ribbon on the door.
The crowd that included Nancy's siblings and their families applauded as the ribbon was cut and the doors opened, in which Drew Dawson welcomed everyone in for a tour.
Everyone entered the venue, but the Spenglers, Gary Groonberson, and Lucky.
"I have to say Phoebe, Podcast, I'm really impressed what you two really pulled off to get this playhouse reopened," said Callie.
"Yeah, this project was a great idea to improve the town.
You both should be proud of yourself," spoke Gary.
"Thank Mom, Mr. Groonberson, but we didn't do this for attention or extra credit, but to help someone," said Phoebe.
"Well, actually, we did it originally for an episode of my podcast, but in the end, we made a friend and reopened a theater," added Podcast.
"And I'm going inside now to see how it looks, said Gary, who turned to Callie and asked, Care to join me?"
"That sounded quite cheesy, but cute, so yes," Callie smiled, as she and Gary walked into the playhouse.
After taking a few pictures of the outside of the playhouse, Phoebe and Podcast entered the theater to conclude their interview with Drew Dawson and Nancy Kidman's family.
By now, everyone was inside the playhouse, except for two visitors.
Lucky and Trevor.
"Hey stand by the marquee," Trevor spoke.
"How come?" Lucky asked.
"I want to get a photo of you."
"Not unless you get under with me."
Once he got under the theater marquee with Lucky, Trevor the camera app on his smart phone to selfie mode.
As he click the button to take the photo, Trevor gave Lucky on kiss on the cheek.
When the picture was taken, Lucky gave Trevor a slight look.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that," said Trevor, who was a bit nervous.
"Actually, you missed," said Lucky.
"I did?"
Trevor looked confused, until Lucky leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips, as she had done the night of the dance.
The two shared another kiss as Trevor took another picture.
"Are you going to it?" Lucky asked Trevor, referring to the photo.
"What would everyone at school think?" Trevor asked about the photo, and the rumors about his and Lucky's relationship at school.
Unlike her feelings beforehand, Lucky answered, "Let them talk."
Trevor then took Lucky's hand as they entered the playhouse.

The End
