Jason replied, "I don't think the boys had witnessed evil since they were in the fortress, probably their whole lives. From the sounds of it, they were in pain during the whole thing with Frollo, right?".
Jasmine blinked in thought, "Yeah, you're right. Makalo was crying and asking if Lebron and Sura was okay and everything. They must have thought that Frollo was a friend of their true parents, and without Scar or Zira to protect them, they got put into danger...".
Emma nodded, "That actually makes a whole lot of sense. With Scar and Zira as only stories, the boys could easily want to be heroes like you two.", nodding at Logan and Jasmine.
Mulan joined the group, shifting from dragon to human, a whole lot of emotions in her face as she reunited with Jason, "We lost at least 125 people and good creatures, and one of them was King Frederick...He saved Lord Arthur's life...".
The group was shocked in several ways. While the loss of so few was impressive and truly a cause for victory as the battle could've easily resulted in so many more dead... the loss of Frederick made a bitter taste, especially probably amongst his own forces.
"At least he died how he probably wanted... rather than letting disease claim him...", Logan admitted. Everyone nodded somberly in agreement, and Emma replied, "He died a king, a hero, and a friend. That means more to him than being a sick man, probably hating pity from people and such.".
Mulan said, "Mickey commanded everyone to take a day of rest especially after the march and now this final battle.", and the group looked relieved at that, with Emma smiling, "Since all the dark magic is gone, I can do portals from here, but yeah, better to give them plenty of rest and peace to grieve and all.".
"Plus, the time to celebrate... I mean, the war is now over; we got Frollo and the Chernabog, what's left?", Jason chuckled as he sat down, just not believing what he had just said. Few, especially those that were from this world, could hardly believe that, from the looks of things, the war was finally over after so long; and victory had been achieved by their side.
Adam replied, "Rebuilding our homes, fixing our kingdoms, and having our families.", with a smile as he held Pippa's hand with Sura in Pippa's arms. Pippa grinned softly, "Sounds good to me.".
Everybody agreed, having similar goals of that magnitude, and then heard an echoing song of joy and love as they looked up to see Eden returning over the other side of the valley from the west, large in life, directly over the river where a transparent merbaby is leaping, spinning, and splashing as he swam and grew into a solid merboy.
The merboy looks like 8 years old, having an azure blue tail with light blue fins, fire-red hair in a tousled mess, and bright green eyes, and light peach skin. He smiled brightly as he saw King Triton, "Daddy!".
Triton was in shock once more as he saw the boy as Mickey walked over to him. "Triton... do you know this child?", Mickey asked as Triton slowly nodded.
Triton breathed in awe and shock, "It's Tyne...my stillborn son I lost...so many years ago...", before sobbing and reaching out as he swam from Mickey, "Tyne!", going to him.
Tyne laughed, the laugh reminiscent of Athena's laugh, swam faster, leaping in and out, and with a huge splash as he jumped out, he collided into Triton's chest, nearly causing Triton to fall back into the water, his arms full of Tyne as he wrapped his small arms as best as he could around Triton's neck, "Daddy!".
"How is this possible?", Adam asked the group as Emma looked back at Eden. "I'm not sure... but I get an honest feeling it has something to do with her... bring back life to this place.", Emma said. "And more, it seems.".
Eden smiled brightly as she saw the reunion and gave out another song of strength and love as she then flew over the earth, coming up the hill, through the trees, and suddenly, a familiar wisp appeared, flying under Eden, giggling as Eden kept singing, and the wisp became a transparent baby to toddler to child, and became solid as it touched the earth, becoming flesh.
He has curly black hair, with a dark brown eye and a dark blue eye, and warm tan skin, and with every step, he made tiny flowers appear in his excitement, and smiled happily as he ran clumsily on his legs, 3 years old, looking at Jason and Mulan, "Daddy, Mommy! It's me!".
"P-Ping...", Mulan dropped to her knees as it was just too much for her to take instantly as the young boy kept running towards her. "He... she brought him...", Jason muttered.
Ping smiled widely, "Mommy, Daddy!", finally reaching them, and stopped just before Mulan, and wrapped his arms around Mulan's neck, careful to mind the belly even if it's not showing yet, and Mulan sobbed, slowly wrapping her arms around him, smelling his natural scents as she breathed, touching him so reverently yet gently, "Ping...My baby...You came home...", barely noticing Jason scoot over, to touch Ping in shock and amazement as tears fell.
Everybody else was so shocked and surprised, and Emma glanced at Eden, "Why did you do it?", and Eden mimicked her hands to say, "Gift.".
Emma blinked, "All because we freed you?", and Eden nodded, gesturing to Ping and Tyne with some signs, "It was a one-time thing?", and Eden nodded, gesturing to Mulan's belly with an expression, and Emma nodded, "Oh, because Tyne and Ping were killed in the belly, you gave them rebirth, is that right?".
Eden nodded once more as Mulan kept sobbing before looking up to her. "Thank you... so very much...", Mulan could barely say it as she was just so overwhelmed with tears of joy.
While it would be strange to already have a three-year-old child while his twin sister wasn't even past the first trimester, Mulan couldn't complain as she had her boy back after sadly having him ripped from her before.
Eden smiled warmly, and flew over to Ping, patting his head, and Ping smiled at her, "Bye, Auntie Eden. You visit Ping to help with earth?", and Eden nodded.
Jason blinked in confusion, "Help with earth?", and Ping smiled at him, "Ping nature healer! Eden teaching Ping and Tyne when she can. Tyne water healer!", with a giggle.
Emma blinked, "Oh, because Tyne was reborn with water, and Ping was reborn with earth as we saw.", and Eden looked at Emma with a smile and a nod.
"I haven't been married for more than a week and already my son has a job.", Jason chuckled as he rubbed his son's head. "Guessing you don't get a paycheck though.".
Mulan rolled her eyes, "Let's not overburden him with things already... Ping deserves to live like a child right now.".
Eden nodded and gestured with a few signs of coming every spring and summer to teach him and Tyne, and Emma intercepted it for Mulan and Jason's sake. Jason smiled, "Good to know. Thank you for bringing him back.".
Eden smiled brightly, and kissed Ping's head, and Ping waved, "Bye, Auntie Eden!", and Eden waved, and flew down to the river to give Tyne a hug and a kiss on his head as Tyne explained with excitement to King Triton about his new job as he grows up, and waves goodbye to Eden who smiles, and leaves the valley, intending to check the other regions to bring life back to any other dead places of land as she laughs in joy and happiness, finally able to be herself once again, free after being a prisoner for so long.
"Someone remind me... did Aslan mention any of that in his prophecy for us?", Logan asked as the others shook their head. "Not that I can think of.", Emma admitted.
"Does it really matter though?", Pippa asked. "I mean... we won. Hard to believe that it's finally over.".
"Not fully.", Mickey informed. "There are still dark creatures out in the lands; but without any leadership, they'll pose little of a threat to the kingdoms. If they do cause some issues, our kingdoms will be able to quickly deal with them in short order. But the true evil that was plaguing the lands is now gone.".
Adam smirked, "And those dark creatures would fear any of us in any respective kingdom. Either way, we can focus on living in peace once again...It's gonna be weird for all of you as you have gotten used to fighting and all back on Earth and here, right?".
Logan nodded, "That's true, but we got our true loves, our growing families to keep us busy and such, and eventually, some of us, to lead a kingdom...Golly, it's actually happening...I am going to be Sultan Consort...", holding Lebron in his arms.
Jasmine smiled and kissed his cheek as she held Makolo in her arms, "We have to fix Agrabah first...", with a chuckle.
"Shouldn't be too difficult. At least we won't have to worry about anyone trying to stop us from doing that now.", Logan said. "Just don't get too overconfident about it... it'll be a challenge.", Jasmine reminded him.
Pippa nodded, "Yeah, we truly got a lot to fix and rebuild, like Sarip, Agrabah, Adam's kingdom, and Pocahontas's village. Otherwise, Enchantia is pretty much intact apart from those places, especially if Eden is bringing life back to several places that was rotting of dark magic like Maleficent's old mountain valley.".
Emma smiled softly, "Either way, we're so going to keep seeing each other and catch up every weekend or whatever, right?", and everybody smiled, nodding in agreement.
"Might be a few weeks or a month or so... with so much celebration that's being planned.", Kida chuckled. "After all, you Talons are the heroes of so many lands.".
Haku chuckled sheepishly, "It's weird to be famous...especially when we were only one of many soldier teams back on Earth, and now it's different...It actually feels good, you know, right, guys?", looking at his comrades.
"Yeah... just finally enjoying this place at peace, not having to rush from one battle to another. Not worrying about letting the whole world down..." Zuri nodded.
Emma smiled wryly, "Let's make camp, and celebrate with the others. It's gonna be a long party around here.". Everybody agreed. And so, the day went like a huge day of parties, of celebrations, of honoring the team, of well, everything related to celebrating.
Jason, Mulan decided to stay to help out Phoebus and Helga to rebuild Sarip, figuring Jason's conjuration magic can help out, and Ping is all too happy to be with his parents. Emma, John, Haku, and Zuri, after ordering his merman army to return home to Atlantica, King Triton with Tyne, went to Cair Paravel with King Mickey and his army, but not before using portals the next day to transport everybody of every army home to their kingdoms, including their comrades' dead bodies from the pass and of course, King Frederick's body to Corona.
Logan and Jasmine, along with their twin sons, Makolo and Lebron, went for Agrabah, and were shocked to see that Agrabah is an oasis town now, with a river trail from the other oasis, but still in pieces unfortunately, as Eden cannot rebuild homes as she is a healer of earth.
Pippa and Adam, and of course, their new daughter, Sura, went to Fantasia to ask Adam's few friends to rejoin them at Adam's castle and fix the kingdom including the towns near and far in his small province with aid from Prince Charles' kingdom as King Daniel is looking to retire within a month to give the crown to Prince Charles and become king, only wanting to spend his golden/silver years with his granddaughter.
The news of the victory spread fast throughout the lands. It was almost hard for the Talons to go anywhere without almost being swarmed by grateful civilians all over. In a few cases, some of the Talons had to quickly make an escape just to get away. Even heroes needed their space, but at least they weren't being worshiped as gods which would've made things even more uncomfortable.
It lasted for a few months before all the commotion settled down, and in the meantime, much to Jasmine's shock, her people returned home, and went to help rebuild Agrabah, and somehow, with hard work and Logan's gifts thanks to Power, it became more beautiful than ever.
To Phoebus and Helga's surprise, even after Clopin returned with his people and Quasi to Sarip, Cinderella, thanks to being an animal speaker, has told Phoebus and Helga that all the rats and mice wanted to be human, and with Jason and Mickey's help, the rats and mice are now human, with Remy and his family happily fixing the few restaurants in Sarip, with the population almost as full as the previous population years ago.
Adam's castle was somehow fixed, and after finding out that the confession in Corona was the effect behind it all, and the small family focused on fixing the towns in Adam's kingdom, while planning their wedding.
And as for Pocahontas, she was hesitant about returning to her island, to her village, but her people returned home via Emma's portals, nonetheless, and after a couple of weeks, she gave in, hearing the reports of Eden reviving the land in and out of Enchantia, and with some ingenious work, Emma created portal doorways in arch stone, like the Veil in Harry Potter, but more colorful and on pure magic, only marked on specific DNA.
Upon seeing that it works, she did it in every kingdom, near the castles, so everybody can have a day in one kingdom, and another day in other kingdoms, etc. Seeing that it hadn't tired her out at all, upon thinking about the rest of her family on Earth, and remembering what Kyle did, she went to talk with the rest of the team to see if they can work together to help Emma create inter-dimensional portals to Earth.
"Are you honestly sure about that?", Logan asked as the six Talons were all alone with each other, almost like it was when they first came to this world. "I mean, I know it's been some time, but I'm not so sure about this...".
"What is it you're worried about?", Jason looked at him. "Well, part of me thinks, we've done our job, we fulfilled the prophecy, so... well, what if we go back to Earth, and can't come back here? What if our magic just suddenly dies there? I don't want all of us to leave what new lives we've built here behind.", Logan replied with horror and fear, not wanting to leave Jasmine or his twin sons.
Emma shook her head, "You two don't have parents to worry about, and Haku's parents disowned him, but for me, I got an aunt, uncle, and a bunch of cousins, and if I somehow take Ryan's body back to here, we can do the life ritual...Ryan don't have to be a teenager forever...And Zuri got her ma, and her three older brothers. And Pippa, she got her parents, aunt, and cousins.".
Zuri replied, "And don't forget about Cassie, Phoebus and Helga's almost adopted daughter. She's on Earth too..But how are you sure? I mean, the portal that brought us here was fairy magic and all.".
Emma raised an eyebrow, "It's dragon magic, it's different from fairy magic, and plus, we have the Stones on us, they could protect us from being seen from any government or satellites, I'm sure.".
"You say that...", Haku muttered. "Still, I do have to agree with Logan, I'm worried if things go wrong...".
"Yeah, none of us want to be on the wrong side of the wall.", Logan pointed out. "I mean, it's up to you, Emma, but I think that Logan does make good points. I mean, I think we'll be fine, Kyle managed to get back to Earth and then here alright, so maybe we're worrying about nothing.", Pippa said.
"But like I said, what if now that we're not really needed by this world that our magic will go away?", Logan asked in concern.
Emma looked at them, "We're dragon shapeshifters, guys. It's all imbedded in our DNA now, and the Stones gave us our gifts and magic, and besides, you heard Pete the dragon. We're basically immortal, 600 years to live after doing the life ritual a few more times.".
Zuri blinked, "She's right...Even after having a birthday party, I actually don't feel older...", and the others blinked in surprise before Jason replied, "I ain't letting Emma down if she wants to do this.".
"Hate to play the stereotype, but unless it's unlimited lifespans, we'll probably live as long as an age in Tolkien work.", Haku pointed out as a few of the group rolled their eyes.
"Anyway...", Logan spoke up. "Alright, I'm convinced, Pippa made a good point about Kyle and all.". Emma smiled widely, "So, you're all in, then?", and the others said, "Aye.".
Emma then took a look of thought, "It has to be someplace where we couldn't overwhelm the others when we bring them over...Oh, I got it now.".
Emma created a portal to a clearing near Zaren, and they went through from their meeting spot in Agrabah, and Zuri blinked, "Why a tree?", seeing a large chestnut tree.
Emma smiled, "Remember that tree from the Narnia movie, number 2? Should be similar in a way.", and Jason replied, "Oh, that actually would work brilliantly. So, we just go through a copy of a tree like this on Earth, yeah?".
"This tree to different trees, actually. I'm thinking of it as one of those Treasure Planet portals where it changes in there like a door opening and closing with my specific dragon magic to unlock and lock it.", Emma replied.
