Hey Everyone, Novablade here again! Hope you guys enjoyed last chapter. So this one so this chapter will be a little bit shorter, since I'm covering i believe it's episode 4 of season 1 of S. A. O. Not sure if I'll cover the whole moonlit black cats part of the story or not. For now, just assume that happened the same way as in the anime for sword art online.
Also I know I said later, but I meant the chapter Liz is introduced is when Roy will get his own chapter. He'll be taking Kirito's place in that episode, so the way that whole thing plays out will be a little bit different. After Roy's Chapter, the focus will be on Kirito and Asuna for a little bit, just like in cannon. The elves will still be around to help Kirito and Asuna though, so keep that in mind.

Chapter 3: Ragna and The Dragon Tamer
The Dark Elves are leaving an inn where they were staying to go and grind some levels when they noticed Ragna taking off somewhere. Curious, they decided to ask him about where he was headed.
"Where are you off to, Ragna?," Sarai asked.
"Hm, oh me? I was just going to do some info gathering.," Ragna answered.
"On Titan's Hand, I assume?," Khanna asked.
Ragna nodded.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be careful. Besides, it's not like they could really do much to me or any of us anyways at our current levels, right?" Ragna replied.
Khanna could see his point, but still wanted him to be careful. She was like a big sister in that regard, even though she was his cousin. Odyn assured her that Ragna would be fine on his own. Even if he ran into trouble with that particular "orange players" guild, he was smart enough and strong enough to handle himself.
"Oh, alright. Just... be careful, Okay Ragna?," Khanna sighed.
Ragna grinned at her.
"Hey, don't you worry about me. You know I'll be careful not to get involved in anything over my head. Well, later guys.," Ragna said as he sprinted off.
The other Dark Elves then turned to each other and nodded.
"Well guys, ready to grind some more levels?," Odyn asked.
The others nodded and went to follow him.
Elsewhere...
In a forest on another floor, a group of players gathered. There was an argument taking place between a shorter brown haired girl with a small dragon on her shoulder and a taller girl with red hair wearing mostly black. The shorter girl was the Player known as Siluca the Beast Tamer, while the taller girl was known as Rosalia.
"Why should I have to give you healing crystals? You don't even fight on the frint lines!," Siluca argued.
Siluca was a petite girl with light brown hair, ruby colored eyes, peach colored skin. She also wore gray armor with a yellow tunic that fanned out into a skirt below. Her weapon of choice was a small dagger that was sheathed just behind her back.
Rosalia sported mostly black and red outfit that turned into a skirt like coat. Her weapon of choice was pike who's blade was shaped into a cross.
"Because Siluca that's just how these things work, silly. Besides, you're the popular one out there not me. It's not like the boys will go and help me when I'm in trouble.," Rosalia said playing with her hair.
"Hey, it's not like that.," One of the male party members said.
"Fine. You want my items? Keep 'em! I'm never teaming up with you again. I know there's a ton of parties who'd be glad to have me!," Siluca said as she stormed off.
"wait, don't go! Siluca!," The male player called.
Unfortunately, Siluca wasn't listening as she walked away. As she stormed off, Siluca never noticed the devilish smirk on Rosalia's face as she left.
Time skip: Night...
In a forest, and now surrounded by giant ape monsters Siluca was thrown back. Pina, her pet dragon flew to her side and used its breath to heal her a little bit. She charged back in, slashing some of the monsters before misjudging a surprise attack from one of them. Reaching into her bag, she realized too late that she had run out of healing crystals.
"I'm out of healing crystals!," Siluca thought shocked.
She was promptly knocked into a tree and looking for her dagger. The monsters approached her, making her scared that she was going to die. The monster swung down, but Pina raced in and took the blow meant for her.
"No, Pina!," The girl cried as she rushed to her fallen familiar.
"Pina! Pina! Please, don't leave me!," Siluca cried tears streaming down her face.
The familiar disappeared into tiny light shards leaving behind a single feather from one of the small dragon's wings.
Siluca looked up, frozen in terror. This was it, this was how she'd die. She awaited the final blow, only for it to never come due to the monsters also disappearing into tiny little light shards. Behind them, stood a dark skinned boy with pointed ears and orange flame colored eyes. Ragna had arrived just in time to save the girl.
"Pina...," She began crying.
Ragna looked to her concerned.
"Was that your friend?," He asked.
"Yeah, it was Pina... My best friend.," The girl sniffed.
"You're one of those beast tamers, aren't you?," He asked.
Siluca nodded as she picked up the feather left behind.
"Check that, it may have an item name.," Ragna told her.
The girl did, but then became teary eyed again. He put his hand on her shoulder in comfort.
"Don't cry. If only I was here a little bit sooner, I could've saved your friend...," Ragna said somberly.
"I was stupid for thinking I could through the forest all by myself...," Siluca cried.
Ragna felt for the girl. He knew she must've felt terrible for letting her friend die right in front of her. Fortunately, he knew of a way to cheer her up.
"T-Thank you for saving me.," Siluca said still slightly sniffling.
"You know... there's still a chance you can revive Pina.," Ragna said.
"Huh? There is? Please, tell me!," Siluca asked desperately.
Ragna felt his eyes widen as he stuck at his hands in front of him. This girl... was a little close to him at the moment.
"S-Sure thing. On floor 47 there's a dungeon ther called The Hill of Memories. At the summit, there's said to be an item for reviving fallen familiars.," Ragna explained.
The girl then thanked him.
"Thank you so much! Perhaps if I work hard enough, then some day maybe...," Siluca started saying before Ragna cut her sentence short.
"Sure, but the time limit is 3 days to revive fallen familiars.," Ragan replied.
Siluca felt her eyes widen and tears threaten to spill from her eyes again.
"what?! No, Pina... I'm so sorry...," Siluca said sounding as if she was going to cry again.
Even though he didn't know her, Ragna didn't like seeing this girl he just saved upset.
"H-Hey now, don't cry. Here, take some of this equipment. It should help you boost your stats by about 5 or 6 levels.," Ragna said after opening his menu.
She looked surprised by the gesture. Why would this boy go out of his way just to help her? She felt like she had to do something to repay him. She opened up some menus and was about to pay him.
"I.. I know this isn't enough col to pay for everything, but..," Siluca said before Ragna waved it off.
"Don't worry about paying me. Besides... I .. kinda wanted to help you out anyways.," Ragna answered.
Siluca looked at him again.
"But why would you go out of your way to do that for me?," She asked.
Ragna rubbed his hand on the back of his hand, while looking away slightly embarrassed.
"Promise me that you won't laugh?," Ragna asked.
Siluca donned a serious look on her face as she pumped her fists by her sides as she listened.
"I promise i wont laugh.," Siluca said.
Ragna put a hand over his face before he spoke again.
"It's because you remind me of... my younger sister in a way.," Ragna admitted.
Even though she said she wouldn't laugh, Siluca couldn't help it as she giggled before calming down.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh, honest.," Siluca said wiping away tears from her laughing with joy.
Ragna extended his hand to greet her as he smiled.
"It looks like we'll be forming a party for a little bit. I'm Ragna.," Ragna replied.
Siluca smiled as she took the offered hand and shook it.
"Right. Nice to meet you, Ragna. My name's Siluca.," Siluca greeted him.
"Yeah... We better get out of this forest soon. Say, there's a town nearby... Why don't we go there and find some place where we can plan our route?" Ragna said.
Siluca nodded in agreement.
Time skip: A little bit later...
Ragna and Siluca walked through a town of floor 35, headed towards someplace to discuss their route towards floor 47. Conversations went on as they passed through the streets of the bustling town. The two continued on their way until hearing two voices call out to Siluca.
"Hey, look it's Siluca!," One male player said.
Siluca turned and adressed the pair of guy players.
"It took you along time to get back. We were gettin' worried.," The other male player said.
"Oh h-hey there guys...," Siluca said a little nervous.
The guy player in purple armor then spoke up.
"You wanna team up with us? We'll take you where ever you want to go.," The player in purple armor said.
Siluca stepped back a little bit before she looked towards Ragna's arm.
"Th-That's really nice of you to offer but... well I uh... sorta already agreed to be in a party with him so...," Siluca said as she latched onto Ragna's arm.
The two guys glared at Ragna, probably out of jealousy before Siluca and Ragna started walking away.
" 'Kay, later, bye!," She said smiling nervously.
They continued walking away as the pair of male players from just then still were seen glaring at Ragna.
"S-Sorry Ragna-san, I didn't mean to put you in an awkward situation like that.," Siluca said in apology.
Ragna smiled at the girl.
"Didn't know you had fans, Siluca. You must be pretty popular.," Ragna said.
"No. They don't take me seriously. They just want me to be their mascot.," Siluca said.
A quick flashback of Siluca and Pina, her pet dragon appears on screen.
"Maybe they're right. They call me Dragon Tamer and I guess... it went to my head.," Siluca said looking down.
Ragna then grins and pats the shorter girl on the head.
"Not to worry. We'll make it in time, I promise Siluca.," Ragna said.
Siluca then smiles as she wipes away a small tear from her eye.
"Okay. Hee hee, I trust you then Ragna-san!," Siluca laughed.
The two then continued down the street. They chatted along the way.
"Do.. you live around here, Ragna?," Siluca asked.
"Ah well... I'm up on floor 51, so it's kinda far from here. I was thinking about just getting a room for the night.," Ragna told her.
"If you stay, then I'll take you out for some cheesecake. It's really good here! Y-You know as thanks for earlier..," Siluca said.
They continued forward until come face to face with someone Siluca knew all too well.
"Oh? If it isn't Siluca?," A familiar voice said.
Siluca and Ragna both saw the person in question, Rosalia. Siluca looked down as Rosalia kept talking.
"Wow you made it out of the forest alive, good for you girl.," Rosalia said as she was shown alongside members of the party Siluca had previously left.
Ragna scowled at the taller girl.
"And how would you know that?," Ragna said narrowing his eyes at her.
Rosalia smirked.
"Not tellin' a girl's got her secrets you know?," Rosalia replied.
"sure, whatever lady.," Ragna said not liking the feeling he got from this other girl.
"Is something wrong?," Ragna asked.
"I-It's nothing Ragna-san.," Siluca said looking down.
Rosalia walked up and looked at Siluca, almost as if she was looking down at her. Ragna didn't like that at all.
"Hang on... What happened to your little lizard friend? Did it run away?," Rosalia asked.
Ragna glared at her. He did not like this girl one bit, something about her just seemed... "off".
"Pina died protecting me. But I'm going to bring Pina back, just you watch!," Siluca said.
"Really? I guess you'll be heading for the hill of memories then, huh?," Rosalia said.
"Again, how in the world would you know that?," Ragna asked his glare fixated on the taller girl.
Rosalia smirked, but then had to suddenly jump back for some unknown reason. It was like... her body just moved on instinct. There was definitely something about this boy that was dangerous, she'd keep that in mind.
"Hm... I wonder if you'll be able to clear it at your current level?," Rosalia said.
Ragna stepped in front of Siluca, keeping his glare fixated on Rosalia.
"She should have no problem clearing it, since I'll be going with her.," Ragna said.
"It shouldn't be too hard, that dungeon isn't that high leveled. If anyone can clear that dungeon, I'm sure Siluca can.," Ragna said.
Siluca looked towards him.
"Ragna-san...," Siluca said quietly.
"Oh god, she seduced another player didn't she? No it's not that difficult, but you don't look that strong.," Rosalia said.
"Come on, Siluca. Let's go.," Ragna said.
The walked past her before Ragna called back over his shoulder.
"Oh and one thing. Don't judge a book by it's cover, you may just end up getting a nasty surprise.," Ragna said as he and Siluca walked down the street and out of earshot.
Rosalia just stared at Ragna and Siluca as they walked by her and her two companions. She then smiled devilishly after the two teens had disappeared.
Time skip: At the Inn...
The scene transitions to inside of the inn and at a table where Siluca and Ragna sat and chatted. They'd already ordered their cheesecake and were now just waiting on it.
"Why does she have to be so mean?," Siluca thought aloud.
"Is... Sword Art Online your first MMO, Siluca?," Ragna asked.
Confused by the question, the girl just answered honestly.
"Um.. Yeah, it is.," Siluca answered.
"This is just from personal experience, but... Alot of people's personalities change when they play games online. And.. there are some people that actually like playing the game as the villain.," Ragna explained.
Siluca continued to listen to Ragna as he further explained things to her.
"You see how our cursors are green? Well, if you commit a crime against another player, your cursor is going to turn orange. Then they become what's called a red player, the worst.," Ragna further explained.
"A red player?," Siluca asked curious.
Ragna nodded.
"In other words, a Player Killer. They're all about murder.," Ragna said.
Siluca's eyes widened in shock.
"They kill people?!," She asked.
Ragna nodded.
"In a normal game, you could role play as the bad guy, maybe have some laughs, and it's all good. No harm, no foul. but... Sword Art Online isn't just a game, not anymore.," Ragna said looking Solemn.
Siluca grew concerned as she looked at the young man.
"Ragna san...," Siluca said looking worried.
The boy seemed to recognize that he was making the girl worried and just looked away as his hands were shaking around his cup.
"Sorry.," He said looking down.
Siluca leaned forward and put her hands on top of his as she spoke.
"W-Well I think you're good! You uh.. saved me after all, right?," Siluca said.
Ragna looked up and allowed a small smile to cross his face.
"Looks like you cheered me up this time, thank you Siluca.," Ragna said smiling at the girl.
Siluca felt her face turn red as she felt embarrassed now. She waved her hands in front of her face and fanned herself like it was hot in the room.
"Ahhhh!! Well now it sure is taking them a long time. I mean, where the heck is our cheesecake? *Nervous laughter* Um.. Excuse me, our dessert hasn't arrived here yet.," Siluca said embarrassed.
Time skip: In Siluca's room...
Siluca plopped down onto her bed, now tired. She had her hair down and was now in her bed clothes. The girl put her arm on her face and slowly turned over about to go to sleep.
"If I said I just wanted to talk some more, would he laugh at me?," Siluca thought.
knock on the door*
"Who could that be?," Siluca thought curiously.
"Are you still awake, Siluca?," Ragna asked from outside the door.
"Ra-Ragna san?!," Siluca asked surprised.
It cuts to Ragna, fully dressed in his Black and purple armor as he stood with his hand outstretched after he knocked on the door.
"I uh.. forgot to tell you some things about floor 47 before our trip there tomorrow. I can come back tomorrow, if that's better for you.," Ragna said.
Siluca slid over the side of her bed and headed towards the door to open before realizing she was still in her bed clothes.
"No, now's fine. There was actually some things I wanted to talk to you about. Just give me a minute to...," Siluca said before realizing she was still in her bed clothes.
It then cuts to after Siluca had changed into some casual clothes, sitting on her bed with a lightly red face and looking down in embarrassment.
"That was so close!," Siluca thought.
Ragna moved a table to the center of the room and in between the bed and himself. He looked toward the girl, noticing she was rather quiet.
"Is something wrong, Siluca?," He asked.
She looked up and waved her hands in front of her slightly embarrassed and nervous.
"I-It's nothing! I'm fine! But what's that thing, Ragna san?," Siluca replied.
The object in question, Ragna placed on the center of the table before pressing the button on top of it. It then displayed a map of their planned route.
"Oh, this thing? It's a mirage sphere.," Ragna said as the top separated to display the map in the middle of it.
"wow! It's so pretty.," Siluca said in awe and smiling.
"This the is the floor where the town of beginnings is. And this over here, is the hill of memories. I was thinking if we took this route, then we can...," Ragna said drawing a lineon the displayed map before he heard something.
"Ragna?," Siluca asked in concern.
He put his hand up to his mouth to silence her.
"shh!," He said before bursting open the door.
"Alright, who's there?!," He asked.
Upon asking he just barely caught the cloak of someone, likley another player, scampering off after being discovered.
Siluca came to the door looking worried.
"Um Ragna san, who was it?," She asked.
"Tch, it was an eavesdropper! Can't believe I never noticed them before I did.," Ragna said.
"what? But.. they can't these walls shouldn't allow for that. I mean, you can't hear through a door unless you knock first.," Siluca said in confusion.
The two went back inside the room, Ragna being on guard now.
"Normally that's true, yes. But if your listening skill is high enough, you can. It does take alot of practice though, not that many players have it.," Ragna explained.
Siluca and Ragna turned towards the door.
"But.. why would they want to listen to us?," Siluca asked confused.
"I'm... not sure Siluca. This just means we'll need to be careful, going forward.," Ragna said.
Time skip: The next day...
February 24th, 2024
Floor 47 of Aincrad
The pair teleported onto the 47th floor and came to a field of flowers spread across as far as the eye could see.
"Wow... This place is like a dream!," Siluca said smiling.
She was now dressed a red skirt with black socks, tan shoes, a red version of her coat she previously wore, with a white breast plate for protection, and her daggers sheathed behind her back.
"I know, right? The whole place is covered in flowers. That's why floor 47 is often referred to as the flower garden.," Ragna said smiling.
Siluca looked around joyfully as she giggled, going forward to explore the flowers. She knelt down to explore one of the flowers just enjoy it. As she did a small ladybug flew away as the camera pans to other players congregating on the floor.
Siluca lightly blushed as she saw they were couples.
"Couples..," She said looking at them.
Her face turns red as she fantasizes about herself and ragna being like the couples she saw.
"Siluca?," Ragna asked.
Her eyes widened when she was addressed.
"W-Wha.., nothing! Sorry to keep you waiting she said a little nervous as she brushed off her skirt.
"What's wrong?," He asked.
Siluca fidgeted as she then was seen to be fixing her hair in an attempt to look presentable.
"Oh nothing, nothing at all!," Siluca said slightly nervous.
Ragna then turned and beagn to walk off, encouraging the girl to follow him.
"Come on, then.," Ragna said walking off.
"Okay.," Siluca replied as she then smiles and follows behind him.
The camera then cuts to a bridge where Ragna is seen holding a teleport crystal.
"What's that for?," Siluca asked.
"This is for just in case. If anything bad happens, I'll tell you to warp out okay? When I do, use this crystal. You can warp to any town with it.," He told her.
"But..," She tried arguing.
"No buts, Siluca. Just use it, Okay? I'd rather not have anything bad happen to a party member of mine.," Ragna said.
"I understand, Ragna san.."She said.
He held the crystals as Siluca reluctantly then took them from him at his direction.
"Let's get going. If we take this path it'll lead us right to the hill of memories.," Ragna said.
The camera pans to show the mentioned path up to their destination. Siluca then jogs to quickly catch up with Ragna. Once she does, she puts her hands behind her back as they briefly walk in silence.
"Um.. Ragna-san I..," Siluca started to say before vines wrapped around her legs.
The girl screamed as she was dragged by what was revealed to be a plant monster. She grabbed her skirt to hide what was underneath from being shown to Ragna. The monster opened up its mouth as the girl then began to scream, swing her weapon wildly.
"Calm down, Siluca. That thing's not that strong.," Ragna said.
"Help me, Ragna! Save me, but don't look!," Siluca said wildly waving her weapon while holding her skirt.
Ragna but a hand to his face, as he tried to avoid looking.
"That'll be... easier said than done.," Ragna said.
The monster swung her back and forth before Siluca started cutting it with her dagger.
"Darn you, put me down, now!," Siluca said.
Once she was free, she cut at the other vines before activating her sword skill to stab the monster in the head and defeat it before gracefully descending to the ground. Siluca stood before looking back towards Ragna, rather embarrassed as she was seen to still be holding her skirt.
"Did.. you see anything?," She asked meekly.
It cuts to Ragna doing his best not to look at Siluca as he answered a little embarrassed himself.
"N-Not.. really.," He said slightly blushing.
Siluca was seen to be also blushing as her eyes looked like she was going to cry out of embarrassment.
It then cuts to some montage of Ragna and Siluca fighting some plant monsters. Ragna batted away their inital attack, while letting siluca finish them off. This plays while their conversation is happening in the background.
"I hope you don't mind me asking this Ragna-san, but.. what's your sister like?," Siluca asked.
"Why do you wanna know?," Ragna asked.
"well.. uh.. you said I reminded you of her. I know it's not polite to ask about your real life but.. what's she like?," Siluca asked.
The camera cuts back to them walking as the conversation continues.
"How to put this? She can be pretty stubborn, but... that's only because she wants to be around her brothers and family. Plus, we can never stay mad at her cause she's precious to us. Super adorable too. I think you'd get along pretty well with her if the two of you were to meet.," Ragna said.
Siluca giggled.
"It sounds like you really love her.," Siluca said giggling.
Ragna looked away embarrassed and rubbing the back of his head.
"Yeah... Just.. don't tell I said those things. She'd never let me hear the end of it of she found out.," Ragna said.
"I'll be sure not to, Ragna-san.," Siluca said still giggling.
"I guess in a way by helping you, I felt like I was paying her back for all the times she stood up for me and my brothers.," Ragna admitted as more montage of him and Siluca battling plant monsters was shown on screen.
"What do you mean by that?," Siluca asked.
"well... In real life, me, my brothers, and even my cousins... we aren't treated very well. We're constantly bullied and degraded just because we look a little different. Were hated just for existing by other people.," Ragna explained.
"What? That's awful! Why would anyone treat you that way? You're such a nice person Ragna-san...," Siluca said upset.
"You'd be surprised if we met in real life what me and those related to me actually look like. Then again.. I guess you are seeing what I look like physically, at least.," Ragna said.
"If you don't mind me saying so, Ragna san... I don't see why anyone could hate you or those related to you. You're so kind! I bet your sister is glad to have stood up for a brother as wonderful as you are.," Siluca said.
"There it is, up ahead.," Ragna said as they neared their destination.
"Besides, she wouldn't stand up for you or your brothers if she didn't like you guys. I bet she even is proud to have brothers like you and the others, promise. At least, that's what I think.," Siluca said.
Ragna smiled at the girl.
"There you go again, making me feel better. I hope you're right about that.," Ragna said smiling.
Siluca couldn't help but to lightly blush at seeing Ragna's smile, it.. did something to her on the inside. She then turns and focuses on what's in front of her to avoid further embarrassment.
"Okay then! I'm to do my best going forward too!," Siluca said walking forward.
The ground lights up as she's caught in the what could be the mouth of a monster as she screams.
"Ahhhh, Ragna!," Siluca screamed just before Ragna sliced through the monster with a sword skill.
Siluca dropped to the ground as the monster was defeated. Ragna smiles and throws a thumbs up at her, while letting the blade rest on his shoulder.
"ow!," She said smiling nervously at him.
She quickly covered her legs, so her undergarments couldnt be seen, blushing in the process.
time skip: a little bit later...
The pair walk up the pathway before stopping. Siluca looks around trying to find it.
"Is that reviving flower around here?," Siluca asked.
"Yeah, it's up there.," Ragna replied pointing straight ahead of them.
Siluca runs ahead to the altar, while Ragna follows behind her.
A golden light shines in front of her as the flower then blooms. Siluca smiles as she watches the flower finish blooming.
"Go ahead, pick it up.," Ragna told her.
The girl does as instructed and picks the flower. It listed the item's name as she turned towards, Ragna smiling.
"And this will bring Pina back to life?," She asked.
Ragna nodded.
"Yeah, as far as I know it will.," Ragna replied.
Siluca closed her eyes and smiled.
"Good, I'm so glad..,"She said happily.
"There's a bunch of strong monsters that are lurking around the area here. Let's revive your friend when we get back to town, alright?," Ragna suggested.
"Besides, I'm sure Pina would want it that way.," Ragna said looking at Siluca.
Siluca turned smiled at the boy.
"Okay.," Siluca said.
Time Skip: Back near the bridge of floor 47..
The pair continued to walk on their way back towards the town they were staying at, when Ragna put his hand in front of Siluca and glared in the distance towards a tree.
"Is something wrong?," Siluca asked curious.
"Whoever's hiding out there, you may as well come out. Unless.. You want to make me force you out cuz... I can easily arrange that much.," Ragna said.
A familiar head of red hair came out from behind a nearby tree. It was revealed to be Rosalia.
"Rosalia?," Siluca said frightened.
"If you saw through my hiding skill so easily, your detection skill must be really high, swordsman.," She said as she views the pair of green cursors hovering over Ragna and Siluca.
Ragna clenched his teeth before becoming slightly hostile.
"I don't have time for charades, you witch. Just spit it out already, what are you here for?," Ragna said glaring at her.
This took Rosalia by surprise as she saw it. There it was, that look again. And it had the same effect as the last time she encountered this particular boy. She cleared her throat and played it off.
"Ooh, it looks like you were successful in getting your hands on the numa flower. Congratulations. Now be a good girl and hand it over.," She said as her look instantly changed.
"What, what are yiu talking about?," Siluca asked scared.
"*sighs* I knew it, you were after the revival item. And just so you know... No one's handing anything over, Rosalia, not to you... or the orange guild. Or should I say, Titan's Hand. And you're their leader, aren't you Rosalia?," Ragna said.
This made Rosalia pause for a moment. She didn't expect this brat to figure it out so quick.
"Nice.," She said.
Siluca looked at Ragna.
"But Ragna, Rosalia's cursor is green.," Siluca said surprised.
"It's a simple trick, Siluca. The green members find their victims, then they lure them right to the orange players for the ambush. That was one of your croneys eavesdropping on us last night, wasn't it Rosalia?," Ragna said.
Siluca now understood why Rosalia had her in the party originally, she was just now realizing why.
"Then.. The reason you were in the party with me and the others was to...," Siluca trailed off before her eyes widened in horror.
"How perceptive of you, Siluca. I was observing their strength while watching them earn all of that beautiful money.," Rosalia said before licking her lips.
Siluca slightly hid behind Ragna in fright.
"But you were who I was excited about and I was so sad when you left the party. But then you told me that you were getting a rare item. (looks towards Ragna) What I want to know is if you knew about us, then why did you bring her here? Are you dumb? Or does she have you wrapped around her finger?," Rosalia said smirking.
"You're not in the position to be calling anyone dumb, witch! Anyways to answer your question... You're wrong both times. See.., I've been looking for you too Rosalia.," Ragna said.
Rosalia then became hostile, no doubt a result of being insulted twice.
"What are you talking about?," She asked annoyed.
"Do you remember 10 days ago? You attacked a guild called the silver flags, leaving everyone dead other than their leader.," Ragna said.
"Oh.. right, the losers with no money.," Rosalia replied while playing with her hair.
"The leader went back and forth, from front lines to warp point and with tears in his eyes. He begged everyone he met to avenge his dead friends. (A flashback of said individual begging people on his knees while Ragna was seen watching amongst a crowd of people was seen as he explained the story) But he didn't want you killed, no.. He wanted you to go to prison. Do you have any idea how he felt?," Ragna said glaring daggers at Rosalia.
"Can't say I do. Only idiots take this seriously. So what if we kill someone here, there's no proof saying they died IRL. Anyway, it's time you started worrying about yourselves.," She said smiling and snapping her fingers.
The camera then pans to orange players coming out from behind the trees.
Siluca's eyes then widen as she starts becoming scared.
"R-Ragna there's too many of them! We should get outta here!," Siluca said frightened.
Ragna turned and patted Siluca on the head as he smiled.
"No, it's okay Siluca. You'll be safer if you stay here. Keep the crystal handy until I say so.," Ragna said.
Siluca reaches into her pocket to get the crystal.
"um.. 'kay! But.. Ragna!" She said as Ragna continued walking forward.
Several of the orange players took an involuntary step backwards at the name.
"Ragna?!," One of the orange players said.
"Dressed in Black and purple, one handed, no shield... Holy crap! It's the Midnight Swordsman!," Another orange player said.
"Rosalia, that guy! He's part of a group of high level players who fight on the front lines!," The orange player next to her said.
"A group you say?," She asked.
"Yeah! He's one of The Flame Eyed Sword Troupe! And they're with the Assault Team on the front lines!,"The orange player said.
Siluca was surprised when she heard that name. Since the game started, that group of players had made a name for themselves slaying countless powerful monsters. They'd beaten monsters that some players purposely avoided, because they were so strong. If Ragna was a part of that group, he had to be really strong!
"Why would someone from The Assault Team be all the way down here?," She said.
Ragna continued to walk forward towards the group of orange players.
"Come on, take him out! And take everything he owns, while you're at it too!," Rosalia said.
The 7 other players then each activated their weapon skills as they launched their attacks at him. Ragna just stood still, taking the hits.
"Die!," One orange player said as they all took turns hitting him.
Rosalia chuckled as she watched thinking she had won against the boy who'd spooked her.
Siluca shook as she watched, reaching for her dagger behind her.
"I've got to save him, he won't last at this rate!," She said with her teeth clenched.
As Siluca looked up though, Ragna's health bar would decrease a little bit, but would then heal back up to full. That was odd.
"Wha.. What's going on?," Siluca said surprised.
The 7 orange players were then tired as they were confused themselves. Ragna looked at them before waiting to speak.
"What are you all doing?! Hurry up and kill him!," Rosalia said angered.
Ragna then spoke.
"400 hp in 10 seconds, give or take. Not bad. That's about what the 7 of you can inflict on me damage wise. I'm level 75 and I have 15,270 hp. My auto battle healing skill restores about 600 hp every 10 seconds. We could stand here all day and you idiots wouldn't get anywhere.," Ragna said.
"No, that's impossible!," Rosalia said gritting her teeth.
"Do you wanna bet then? If your numbers are high enough, you're invincible. MMORPG'S that use a leveling system are unfair that way!," Ragna said.
"Grr!," Rosalia growled under her breath.
Ragna then is shown lifting a crystal for all of them to see as he further explained.
"My client spent his entire fortune on this warp crystal, and he'll get his money's worth and then some! It's been set to the coordinates of the prison and that's where all of you fools in Titan's Hand are going!," Ragna said.
Rosalia extended her pike towards him, she was scared now. Perfect. Now it was just time to drive the final nail in their coffin to put Titan's Hand to bed.
"Well, I'm green and if you hurt me..!," Rosalia started but never finished.
Ragna zipped towards her and put his blade to her throat before glaring at her.
"You think I care? I could care less what idiots like you think of me. If I have to play as Orange for a few days to protect those I care about, no big deal then got it?!," Ragna said.
Rosalia could say nothing to that as she simply dropped her weapon in surrender, while Siluca looked on in awe.
Time skip: Inn on floor 35, Siluca's room...
It was at sunset, that we see the scene transition to Siluca's room in the inn they stayed at before. Ragna and Siluca sat on the bed next to each other as they talked.
"I'm sorry about that, Siluca. This entire time I used you as bait to catch them. I thought you may be scared if I told yiu the truth about me.," Ragna said apologizing to the girl.
Siluca shook her head and smiled at him.
"I could never be scared of you Ragna, because you're a good person. U-Um... d-do you really have to go?," Siluca replied.
Ragna sighed.
"Yeah... I've been away from the front lines and those who fight by my side for 5 days. I need to get back.," Ragna answered.
Siluca fidgeted as she then spoke again.
"I... I think it's cool that you're with the Assault Team. I could try for 100 years and never make it.," Siluca said.
"Hm... I don't kwow about that, Siluca.,"Ragna said.
She looked at him in confusion.
"Huh?," She asked confused.
"You just need a bit more practice is all. I think you're actually joining the front lines than you think.," Ragna told her.
She giggled.
"Seems I was right about you, Ragna san. You are a kind person.," Siluca said smiling at him.
"Uh.. um... I...," Siluca started to say before Ragna spoke again.
"You know levels are nothing more than just numbers and one person's strength in this world is just an illusion. Sure, It sounds cool and all but I believe there are more important things than that. We should meet up in the real real once this thing is all over, that would be cool. Cause I really like having you as a friend, Siluca. " Ragna said.
Siluca smiled at him.
"Okay, we will. I promise.," Siluca told him.
Ragna then got up and spoke.
"Well? Are you ready to revive Pina, Siluca?," Ragna asked.
"Yeah! B-but before that... uh... Ragna san?," Siluca said leaping off her bed to stand in front of him.
She began to blush again.
"Yeah, what's up Siluca?," He asked.
She fidgeted before speaking again.
"Um... I uh... wanted to give you something. Y-You know as th-thanks for saving me today.," Siluca said a little red in the face.
"Alright. What did you have in mind?," He asked.
"could you uh... close her eyes for a sec? It's a surprise gift!," Siluca said.
He was puzzled but complied anyway.
Siluca then walked up to him and hugged him before she then stood onto her tip toes and gave him a peck on the cheek. She then walked back from him and told him to open his eyes.
He opened his eyes and was shocked, he felt his cheek and was red in the face just like Siluca was.
"S-Siluca I uh... wow... I don't know what to say to..," He started before Siluca put a finger to his mouth.
"Th-That was to thank you, for today you know. Actually I do have one more favor to ask.," Siluca said.
"Sure. What is it?," Ragna asked.
"C-Can you uh... add me to your friends list?," She asked.
"Sure thing.," He said.
"Awesome! C-Cuz.. I uh... ya know.. I'd love to talk again soon, if you wouldn't mind.," She said.
Ragna chuckled slightly before answering the girl's question.
"Sure Siluca. Same here, my friend.," He said.
The two of them opened up some menus before sending and accepting friend requests to each other. With that out of the way, they could now revive Pina.
Siluca opened uo several menus until she found the flower and Pina's feather. She looked to Ragna who nodded.
She poured the liquid on Pina's feather as a bright light shined within the room.
"Pina, when you get back... I'll have lots of stuff to tell you about. All about the amazing adventure I had and about this one day when I got to have my very own Big Brother who became my very first friend too...," Siluca thought as light engulfed the room.

Ending theme: Sword Art Online Ending 1
And... done! It took me a bit to write this one cuz I wanted be sure I had events straight with this one. I added a moment between Ragnarok and Siluca because I felt it was important for a base to their relationship. As you can tell it's a just a friendship/sibling type relationship for now but I plan on developing it further as the story progresses. I'm not sure if I'll cover the moonlit black cats or not, I might if I branch into Kirito's solo adventures a bit. But I may decide to forgo that and say everything that happened to Kirito during that time was just as it was in the cannon s.a.o story. These next few chapters will be interesting because they're diving into the murder mystery mini arc of season 1 of sword art online. I say interesting, because unlike in cannon, Kirito has more friends then he did in the orginal anime.
