Chapter 8
While flying on the plane to Johto, Ash is now sitting with East as they notice something floating on the water. Ash says, "East, can you pick that up!"
"Roger that." East says as he picks up the thing in the water, which turns out to be a coffin.
Flora, Alice, and Yancy gather around the coffin and Flora ask, "A coffin floating on the water? Who in the right mind will toss a dead body into the ocean?"
Just then, they hear muffled voices from inside, and Alice says, "Okay... this is not normal. Whoever's inside is not a dead body."
Ash quickly breaks open the coffin with a knife, and they see a mummy inside. Ash cuts the bandages and it reveals a boy.
"Are you okay?" Ash asks.
The boy coughs and says, "Team Cipher... they killed my parents with the Shadow Pokemon and they threw me in that coffin..."
"Team Cipher?" Ash yells in anger, "So instead of being in the Orre Region, they're in Johto? Just great."
After getting to the FS Resort, instead of finding any Cipher grunts, there are a lot of shadow Pokemon and dead bodies.
"Damn it... how are we going to get rid of those Shadow Pokemon?" Yancy asks.
"Don't worry, thanks to Professor Keith, we have a solution. Catch!" Ash throws 4 guns at Flora, Alice, Yancy, and Mark. Ash says, "These guns are made using the energy in the Relic Stone at the Agate Village in Orre Region. They can purify the hearts of the Shadow Pokemon."
Then Ash shoots the shadow Houndour, and it gets back to normal. "Don't just stand there, just shoot!"
Alice says, "Red is right!" Then they also shoot at the Shadow Pokemon until all of them are returned to normal. Mark kneels at two bodies on the ground, Ash says, "I'm sorry for your loss. I can relate to it. My mother was also killed in the attack."
Mark says, "If that's the case, I'm going to help you out."
"Welcome to the team, Mark." Ash shakes hands with Mark.
After getting back to the plane, Ash also contacts Queen Ilene and informs her that another member is going to join the family, and Mark is also surprised to learn Ash is the Aura Prince, and the same person who was supposed to be killed by Team Rocket. And because of the age, he is the second eldest among the 5 siblings and Minami, Trenor, and Insey have to call him their second brother.
"Did you guys hear that? It is said that the FS Resort was being attacked." In New Bark Town, Lyra is showing the news to three people, Khoury, Kris, and Ethan. They are inside Ethan's house, which is close to the lab in New Bark Town.
Khoury says, "The Shadow Pokemon, right? I heard that Team Cipher is behind this, but when the police get there, all the Shadow Pokemon and Team Cipher are gone."
"But that's strange... usually Team Cipher would leave a bunch of Shadow Pokemon so they can make sure nobody gets close..." Ethan asks. "Something is not right about it."
"Ethan, do you think someone manages to purify those Shadow Pokemon?" Kris asks. "I mean... Shadow Pokemon are Pokemon with close hearts, right?"
"If that's the case, who is it?" Lyra asks with confusion. "And we really have a lot of things to worry about..."
Ethan says, "Things like what we're doing as trainers. Kris, I heard that you've been capturing Pokemon for Professor Elm, right?"
"Of course, and I also heard that you won the Pokeathlon, five gold medals are such a great feat." Kris says.
"Thank you." Ethan says. "What about you, Lyra, Khoury?"
"The usual, helping my father with the festivals and stuff." Khoury says.
"I try to Sinnoh League, but I just got into the top 8." Lyra says, "I was thinking about challenging the Johto League again."
"I'm sure you can do it." Ethan says, "We'll cheer for you."
"Thanks." Lyra says, then she turns to frown, "Hey, Khoury, do you remember our friend who was killed by Team Rocket? Ash Ketchum?"
Khoury frowns, "I remember, he is a good trainer, and I'm pretty sure that Dawn has been depressed a lot ever since she heard the news."
"This Ash Ketchum person really impacts you a lot, doesn't he?" Ethan asks.
"You're right about that." Lyra says, "We've met in a short amount of time in Sinnoh a few years ago, and he is a special person, of course, Dawn as well."
"Speaking of Team Rocket, Ethan and I managed to stop them from taking over the Goldenrod Tower. It seems like not even the admins know where their boss is located." Kris says. "And there is also Silver..."
"Silver is now in Kanto with Yellow, he just wants to get his revenge on his father, who abandoned him when he was little." Ethan sighs.
"But still, to think he's the son of the Rocket Leader..." Khoury says.
In Olivine City, two siblings are typing on the computer, the girl says, "Ian, are you sure we'll be able to find the location of Team Volt by hacking their computers?"
Ian replies, "We have to try everything, Irena. We're doing this because we want to have them pay for everything they've done."
As they continue searching, they hear a door knock and they pale, they quickly close the website and quickly change into the Word file with thousands of words on it.
The door opens and reveals Jasmine, the Gym Leader of Olivine. She asks, "What are you two doing?"
Irena says, "We're doing homework, I was about to finish the project."
Ian says, "Same, though I started later than Irena, so I only finished 1000 words..."
Jasmine says, "Really, I hope you're not trying to search for Evil Teams for yourself, the world has been a mess and there was an attack from Team Cipher in the FS Resort."
"Team Cipher? But why would Team Cipher be in Johto? I mean, they are the evil team from the Orre Region, and they were supposed to be destroyed by a boy named Michael." Ian says.
"We don't know. But that means there are two evil teams lurking in this Johto Region... and I thought Team Volt is already a pain." Jasmine sighs. "Good thing Lance manages to stop them from getting into our lighthouse, but who knows when they're going to get back."
"Yeah, Mom. Maybe we should-" Irena says, but is cut off by Jasmine.
"Worrying about those teams is the job of us adults, kids like you should continue your studies and stay away from danger." Jasmine says while leaving.
Ian says, "Just because of the news of the death of Ash Ketchum... she seems to be a little overprotective."
Irena says, "But now that she's gone, let's continue our hacking. And by the way, have you heard of the rumors of the sudden attacks?"
"What do you mean?" Ian asks as Irena shows her laptop, which has the footage of the dead bodies of poachers near Aspertia, sex traffickers near Snowbelle, and dead bodies of Team Skull members in Akala Island.
"Oh yeah, the police never find out who the attacker is, and they have been searching everywhere for them." Ian says.
"Do you think it is the work of another organization? Just think about how many organizations are there in the world, every organization has its own goal and it will try to get what they want no matter what method they choose. And Ash Ketchum is unfortunately one of the victims of the attack of Team Rocket. I have to guess that Team Rocket planned to kill him after several attempts of failure caused by him."
"You're right about that, but I wonder... what if he's not dead? Maybe he is secretly hiding somewhere and plotting to get his revenge on Team Rocket?"
"Who knows..." Irena shrugs.
While continuing to travel around the Johto Region, Ash, Insey, Minami, and Nate are now at Blackthorn City. They are walking on the road when they hear a commotion.
"Excuse me, what is going on?" Ash asks a person.
"You guys must be visitors, right? You see, today is the day that the Dragon Clan executes the cursed twins." The man says.
"Cursed Children?" Minami asks, and they see two people being tied to the wooden pillar as their faces are covered by the bags.
"Their mother is a slut who has been sleeping with all kinds of men, their blood is tainted and the Dragon Clan has to obliterate the threat." The man says. "They have been hiding for years until they're found out, and this is why the execution is happening right now."
As they continue to hear, Ash gets angrier by the second. He is not going to let them kill the two people as they please. Ash takes out the wand and creates the Misty Terrain, causing the mist to gather around the field.
"What is going on?" The executioner asks one of the elders, and the Elder says, "Strange, this isn't supposed to be happening..."
Just then, after the mist disappears, the two cursed children are gone.
"They're gone! What is going on there!" "Maybe there's a monster in the mist and it ate the two cursed children!" "Serves them right!"
In the plane, Ash manages to get rid of the masks, revealing them to be two white-haired people. Ash feels slightly attracted to the girl, which causes Alice, Yancy, and Aria to get jealous.
"This is so messed up, just because they were born in a bad way doesn't mean they are evil..." Minami says.
"Yeah... it's a good thing we manage to save them." Flora says.
As the two of them wake up, they notice a lot of people watching over them. The boy jumps and asks, "Who are you? Are you the Dragon Clan? Leave my Sister alone!"
"Wait, we're not here for a fight." Ash says. "We're Team Alpha, and we saved you from the so-called execution. Can you give us your names?"
"This is my brother Drandon, and my name is Lucine." Lucine says, "Thank you for rescuing us, but may I ask why?"
"When we heard your story, we think that it is unfair for you two to pay for the sins of your slut of a mother." Ash says. "That's why we're offering you a home. Join us Team Alpha and we can promise you safety."
"What's the catch?" Drandon says, "How do we know that you're not like those Blackthorn Dragon Clans?"
Ash says, "It's your choice to believe or not. All of us Team Alpha share a similar darkness as you, and that's our goal is to change this corrupted and unforgiving world."
The two of them look at each other before Lucine says, "I guess we'll join. Because you're sincere."
"Great." Ash says, "My name is Red Satoshi, and I'm the Leader of Team Alpha. I will also train you to become stronger and you'll be able to overcome any obstacles."
The two of them are happy as they thank Ash for helping them out, and Ash decides to reveal his own identity and his status as the Aura Prince, both Drandon and Lucine are surprised as they know Ash's name, when Ash tells them about the Team Rocket incident, they also promise to help him with his revenge on the evil teams.
And here is a new chapter, this marks the 9 people that might join Team Alpha in the future. I hope you like this chapter and the next one will be Hoenn.
