Chapter 10
"I'm home." A blue-haired boy walks into the room, and Johanna walks toward the boy and gives him a hug. "Welcome back, Tox. How is the doctor work doing?"
"Tiring, a lot of people have been injured by those Team Terror people." Tox frowns. "With their creating nightmares, the patients have been injuring themselves. By the way, how are Dawn and Lucas?"
"Lucas was just out with Barry, they are trying to challenge the Battle Frontier of Sinnoh. As for Dawn, she's still in her room." Johanna says. "Ash's death really affects her a lot."
"I see..." Tox says as he walks towards Dawn's room. Dawn is staring at the television as he asks, "What are you watching?"
Dawn jumps a little and says, "Tox? You're back! Why didn't you tell me you're coming home today?"
"I didn't? I thought I already said, are you perhaps thinking about him too much that you forget everything?" Tox asks.
"Ash is not dead!" Dawn says, "And I finally have a lead on him!"
"Whoa, seriously?" Tox asks as he notices the screen, which shows the Grand Festival in Hoenn. "You don't think that guy is Ash, do you? I mean, that doesn't look like Ash that you showed me before."
"But he has to be him... only he will have a Pikachu on his shoulder and the style, it matches Ash's Contest Styles." Dawn says.
Tox sighs, "Well if you think so, then why don't you try to find him?"
Dawn says, "You're right... but I still have a lot of questions... why is he faking his death, and why didn't he bother to contact us?"
"I'm sure he has reasons, you just need to ask him." Tox says.
"You're right." Dawn says as she decides to pack things up and leave, with Piplup also ready to come with her.
Ash is now sitting on the plane while looking at the papers. Reisa asks, "Red, what are you thinking about?"
"Oh, I'm just thinking about the Elite Four members for Kanto and Alola. However, there are some of them I haven't contacted and I am not sure if they want the roles. So far only Lillie and Aria accept the roles."
"Did you try to contact them?" Reisa asks, "I mean if you want them to become the Elite Four members, have you tried to contact them?"
"Of course." Ash says, "But right now, I have been going to meet a person who I think is ideal for the next Elite Four member."
After arriving at Sandgem Town, Ash, Reisa, and Lillie find the person at the Pokemon Center. The purple-haired person is no other than Paul, Ash's former rival in the Sinnoh Region, and he is training his Honchkrow."
"Nice work." Paul says while recalling his Pokemon, and just as he's about to leave, a clap occurs and he notices Ash walking toward him.
"I'm impressed with your Pokemon training." Ash says.
Paul stares at the boy with the Pikachu on his shoulder, and not only that, there is an Infernape besides him. He starts to have some flashbacks about a certain raven-haired boy as he punches him.
"Red!" Reisa and Lillie yell in horror.
Ash says, "Don't... I deserve it." He slowly stands up and Paul grabs his shirt and says, "We thought you were dead! You're pathetic!"
"I really was dead." Ash says. "But I'm surprised you figure it out while others couldn't do it."
"You can fool anyone, but you can't fool me." Paul says, "I always remember that rival who has been annoying me and always kept that Infernape. Why didn't you bother to contact any one of us?"
"My life was ruined, my original Pikachu is dead. My mom is dead, I didn't want all of you dead." Ash says with a slightly quiet tone since he doesn't want to yell and let others know he's still alive. "I have to get rid of my old self and I have to become a villain for the sake of the world."
"What are you even talking about?" Paul asks.
"The murderers of Team Skull members, the jailbreaking of Colress and Courtney, I was the one who did it. I'm not going to trust PLA and the International Police, who knows how many spies are inside them." Ash says. "And thus I will need you to help me out."
"Me? Helping you?" Paul asks, "Never knew you have become this badass. So how can I help you?"
"First of all, call me Red Satoshi, this is my name. And second of all, I'm the mysterious Champion of Kanto and Alola." Ash says.
Paul widens his eyes in shock as he can't believe what he's hearing. Ash says, "I want to know if you're interested in becoming an Elite Four member?"
Paul sighs, "Red, I accept your offer, besides, if those teams caused us to believe you were dead, then I want to get revenge on those teams as well."
"We have a deal." Ash says as they shake hands, but just then, they hear a voice, "So it is true!"
They flinch as they notice Dawn standing in front of them panting. Paul says, "Looks like you've got some trouble..."
Just then, Dawn rushes to give a hug to Ash, much to Lillie and Reisa's surprise.
"Please tell me it really is you... Ash..." Dawn says.
"Dawn..." Ash sighs as he knows that the secrets are out. "I...I'm sorry..."
"Is that what you're going to say after disappearing for a year?" Dawn asks while grabbing him by the shoulder and shaking him.
Lillie puts her hand on Dawn's shoulder and says, "Dawn... that's enough."
Dawn realizes Lillie is also here and Lillie says, "I know you're mad that Ash hid the fact from you, I do too, but he has a reason to do so."
"So you also know the truth..." Dawn mutters in shock.
Ash says, "Dawn...I know what I did is wrong, but I never wanted to abandon you. I want to know, how did you know it was me?"
"I watched the Hoenn Grand Festival match, only you would be having that Contest Style, despite using a new Pokemon like Milotic..." Dawn says. "And only you will have a Pikachu on your shoulder."
Pikachu flinches a little and Ash frowns, "Dawn, this is not the same Pikachu that you know. She's female and she is my new partner."
Paul says, "No wonder... something feels off by that Pikachu. And it has the Lightning Rod ability, am I right?"
"Well, yeah." Ash says, "It helps a lot. Anyway, good to see you again, Dawn. However, I want you to keep my identity a secret and call me Red Satoshi, the boy you knew as Ash Ketchum is dead, and Red Satoshi's dream is not to be a Pokemon Master but to destroy all the Evil Teams, including Team Galactic and Team Rocket."
Dawn says, "If that's the case, I'm going to help you too. Team Rocket take the old Ash away from us, and I'm not going to let them do as they please."
Reisa says, "So you got not one but two people at the same place... good for you."
Dawn notices Reisa and says, "Wait, you're Reis Mikuri, right? I have been a fan of yours. So you're working with Ash as well?"
"Yeah. Ash is also training me with the Contests." Reisa says. "And I'm not going to lose the opportunity."
"I see..." Dawn says.
"We can't stay here for so long, we have to leave." Ash says.
After getting on the plane, Paul asks, "How the hell did you know magic?"
Ash says, "This isn't magic, this is Aura. I can use Pokemon moves of my free will, which means Teleport is not that hard for me to do. Anyway, we're going to Vilestone City for a second, because I know that there is a former Galactic member that is sitting in the prison there."
At the Turnback Cave, a girl is killing some Team Terror grunts in the cave with Giratina. She sighs and says, "Now they're also done, where to go next?"
Giratina says, "We're going to Eterna City, there will be Team Galactic Grunts there."
"I see." The girl reveals herself to be a person looking like Ash. "Soon... Brother Ash... we'll be reunited and we'll get our revenge for our dead mom."
"Let's go, Golly." Giratina says as it opens a Distortion World portal as Golly walks in.
"Abomasnow is unable to battle, Empoleon wins, which means the victory goes to Verity from Celestic Town." In Snowbelle City, the Gym Leader Candice loses the battle to Verity Shirona, the daughter of Cynthia Shirona.
"That is an awesome battle, here is the Icicle Badge." Candice gives the badge to Verity, who says, "Thanks."
"So what are you plans next?" Candice asks.
"I'm going to Sunyshore City for my last badge." Verity says.
"Ah, Volkner is a tough opponent, and I'm sure that it won't be easy for your Empoleon." Candice says.
"Don't worry. I'm going to win." Verity says as she leaves the gym. Besides Candice, Zoey walks towards Candice and asks, "So she's Cynthia's daughter?"
"Yeah. She has the strength just like her." Candice says, "By the way, did you watch the Grand Festival happening in Hoenn?"
"I have, and I was really interested in that trainer: Red Satoshi. His skills are so much like the deceased Ash Ketchum..." Zoey says.
"Have you talked to Dawn about this?" Candice asks. "Do you think Ash is faking his death?"
"I don't think he is the same as Ash though." Zoey says, "I mean, his Pikachu is a female one, and it has the Lightning Rod ability. And I don't remember Ash having a Feebas on the team."
"Maybe." Candice says, "So what are you going to do about that?"
"I would like to have a Contest battle with him when we meet." Zoey says as she leaves the gym.
In Vilestone City, Ash brings Mars into the plane and Dawn asks, "So this is the person that you're retrieving?"
"Yeah, don't worry, Mars is now on our side, after being abandoned by Team Galactic, with only Jupiter and Saturn breaking out of the prison, she wants revenge against them as much as we do." Ash says.
"And I'm glad that you give me a chance." Mars says. "I won't let all of you down."
"And now that we're done, we are going to the last region." Ash says, "The Galar Region."
"Why Galar?" Paul asks.
"I have a trainer in mind that will be the last member of the Elite Four." Ash says. "And we're getting there as soon as possible."
East says, "And I need to inform you. Galar has the most Criminal Organization there, with Team Revival, Team Frozen, Team Cosmos, and Team Armor, we have to be careful about them."
"Why are there a lot of evil teams in the Galar?" Lillie asks.
"Crown Tundra is a perfect place for evil teams to hide." Ash says bitterly as they leave the region.
And here is a new chapter, and as you can see, Ash still has a sister but in this story, she was never dead, it is just that she never showed up in front of Ash in person as she lives in the Distortion World for some time. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be about the Galar Region and three more people.
