Charmed: To Time Unknown
[Scene: 1705, Barnstable Massachusetts. Outside a house on the water, two young girls play on a dock, the water splashing against the wood. Early morning]
A man looms behind a tree, watching as the girls laugh and skip on the dock. He turns towards the house, where a young woman is sitting on the lawn. She is the image of Piper Halliwell, and 6 months pregnant. The man watches her as she sits cross-legged on the crab grass growing next to the water, embroidering a baby blanket. She looks up and their eyes meet. He walks around the tree and advances towards the quickly standing woman.
"You can't hide from me Sarah. You will not shame your family any longer" he says, as he pulls a knife from behind him. He grabs her arm. "How dare you betray James! You have proven yourself to be nothing but a whore."
"No!" She cries. "I love James. He came to me, why won't you believe me? Samuel, you don't know what you're doing!" Sarah struggles to pull away from him. He grasps her arm tighter and raises the knife.
"No!"
Samuel turns as a young girl's voice rings across the open beach. She is dressed in all black, with long black hair flying in the wind.
"Free of hatred free of shame,
Sarah Hall is not to blame,
Send this man to time unknown,
When the world has aged and grown,
Save her image and her grace,
Send him to an unknown place"
A wind blows in from the water and spins Samuel, his eyes and mouth wide open, screaming. The wind lifts him up and carries him up into the sky and west, flying away until Sarah can only see the blue sky again. She turns to thank her friend, but she is gone.
"Hannah? Hannah!"
Sarah is left standing alone, as her two daughters run to her and skip around her, pulling at her dress. Their mother's solemn face is a sharp contrast to the girl's songs of delight.

[Author's Note: I know this is really short, but as those who watch the show will know, the opening is always short! The next chapter will be a lot longer, but I can't wait any more to post this part. Please be honest with reviews - I'd like to know what I can do to improve. Thanks]
