Chapter One
"Nissa! Nissa, wake up! Your gonna miss the bus."
"Ok I'm up." Mumbled a still sleeping Nissa. "Mom there is a such thing as an alarm clock."
"Yes maybe, but I just live to wake my fifteen year old daughter every morning and take pictures of her matted up hair." Replied Nissa's mom sarcastically.
"really, and you'd jest love the thought of me making you up as a clown while you sleep, Mrs. Heavy Sleeper."
Nissas mom walked torwards the bedroom door as nissa opened her dresser drawer and took out a yellow smiley face tee shirt and jeans.
"there are some waffles made downstairs if your hungry." Nissa's mom said.
'mom you know I never eat breakfast, it ruins the whole point of lunch." Nissa replied carelessly.
"whatever floats your boat." Nissas mom replied as she descended the stairs to the kitchen.
Nissa got dressed and went to the bathroom to brush her hair. As she brushed her hair, nissa couldn't help but glance in the mirror. There stood a short girl with black hair and green eyes looking back at her.
Do I know you?
"Nissa! The bus is right down the street!" hollered Nissa's dad.
Nissa grabbed her backpack and ran (still with the toothbrush in her mouth) down the stairs and out the door.
