Change of Heart
Hwoarang's P.O.V.
Here he comes, Jin Kazama, the "greatest fighter of all time". But what nobody knows is that there's someone greater. No, not his grandfather, not even his father, but me. I, Hwoarang, am grater than Jin. I was the only one to beat him in a fight; the problem is we fought in private. But now, here I am waiting in a dark alley, waiting for Kazama to finish talking to that Xiaoyu girl. I will call him out as soon as he comes near.
*~*~*
"Bye, Jin!"
"See ya later, Xiaoyu.", Jin said sweetly. He kissed her on the cheek and they went their separate ways.
*~*~*
Inches closer. Come on, Kazama. Your *ss is mine.
*~*~*
"Boo!", Hwoarang shouted as he jumped from behind the wall, "I've been waiting for you,Kazama."
"Jeez, Red. You almost gave me a heart attack.", Jin said trying to catch his breath. "Why have you been waiting for me?"
"Because, I have to kick your *ss."
"Why?", Jin repeated.
Hwoarang sighed all annoyed-like, "Because everyone thinks that you're so great, and I have to let everyone know that Jin Kazama is nothing but a pretty boy actor."
"But I don't even act."
"Oh, I was just looking at some dude when I said that."
"That's cool, but I'm not going to fight you."
"Why?", Hwoarang asked.
Jin mimicked his previous annoyed-like sighing, "Well, first of all, you never beat me in a fight, it was a draw. And second of all, I don't feel like fighting."
"What?! I so beat you, dude!", the redhead yelled, "And what do you mean you don't feel like fighting? I thought fighting was your life!"
"It was, but I found out that there was more to life than fighting."
"More to life than fighting? Since when did you become such an optimist?"
"Since I went through some things, ok?", Jin said beginning to walk away.
"What do you mean, Kazama?", Hwoarang cried after him, " Kazama? Jin?"
Jin didn't answer and continued walking. Hwoarang was left alone on the dark, empty street. But then he got tired of standing there, so he went back to his apartment.
*~*~*
Who does he think he is, telling me he doesn't feel like fighting? Two years ago, I wouldn't have even had to say anything to him to get him to fight me. I guess he's getting soft. It's happened to almost all of the fighters I knew. They were all just like him, strong and bigheaded. I don't understand it, but my heart goes out to him. I really want to know what happened to him. Maybe I'll pay Kazama a visit tomorrow...
