Bullet-proof
Relena listened as the harsh words blared through her stereo. She sat at a vanity and was brushing her golden hair in the yellow light when a stanza caught her attention.
"__ Caught in a world that's bullet-proof,
I can't taste the truth,

They sang with truth, and deep down she knew that it was her truth too.
"What had she been wasting her years on? Pacifism! " Relena laughed, it was a cold bitter laugh, "War would forever be within them, and it would always be knawing at the tiny cracks in her perfect kingdom until it all crumbled down to war again. War was a part of mankind, we were born with it, it was a part of us, and it always would be. She was only trying to suppress human nature.... like it would stay down long and not bite her in the ass. She had been wasting her years on an unreachable, silly dream, and Heero Yuy. Both were unreachable, and both were just a silly infatuation from her childhood. Like the famous gundam pilot would settle down with Princess Relena and the two would live in total pacifism...... yeah right! Even she couldn't see that happening.....
She needed to get away from it all. Away from the lies, away from the disappointment, away from Relena, just.... away.
She quickly grabbed her purse and hauled ass out the first story window. She needed to get some cash, a job, and a new her.
(A.N. Okay I just got this while trying (( and failing miserably)) to fall asleep at 2:30 in the morning last night.... so what do you think?
