Time line: Takes place during season one after all of the BH members have been found.

I like him. A lot. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
I think he likes me too. I'm not sure.
If he does then I won't spend my time thinking up a reason why. Just knowing he does is enough for me. I don't need an explanation.
Everyone thinks I'm crazy. You know, for liking him.
Scott because they're mortal enemies. Don't ask why, they just are.
Jean because he hangs out with Fred/Blob. I think she's still scared of him because he 'kidnapped' her awhile back.
Kurt because he still has some unsolved issues with Todd/Toad. I don't know why, but I think they hate each other (and not just because they're on opposite sides). The death glares and scathing insults were a dead giveaway.
Evan because he and Pietro/Quicksilver hate each other with a passion. I'm guessing this has something to do with Pietro getting him in jail and vice versa.
As for Rogue, well, I don't think she really minds me liking him. She likes Scott, I can tell. I hope he likes her too, despite his obvious efforts to get Jean to notice him. She doesn't deserve to be alone just because she can't come in physical contact with anyone. She can't help what she is, like the rest of us.
Anyway, back to the subject.

Well, for one thing, he's hot. Any girl would agree (unless they were lesbians or something). No, that's not the only reason why I like him (jeez, I'm not that shallow).
He was also the first person to help me control my powers. You know, before the Professor and Jean came along.
Of course, he did drop the entire school on me. I was pissed at him for awhile (who wouldn't be?), but I eventually forgave him. I had my reasons. Let's just leave it at that.
