Her Time

Being a half demon and the time he was from

Drinking pop was not a daily activity

The fizz burned his nose and the crackle irritated his ears

All because she brought beverages from her time

A monk he was, one devoted to his call

But to hear of six other religions was news to him

To learn that Buddhism wasn't practiced everywhere

From she, who brought the odd scroll from her time

He was an orphaned fox demon, with nothing to do

However, his protector brought so much fun from her era

Like the squish-squash blue puddy he could mold

All because of the advances from her time

She was a demon exterminator, with a perverted monk on her hands

It was hard to still his hands, but she had been givin' a saying

'Uh-uh,' was all that was needed to warn the man

A saying from her friend's time, were perverts seemed to roam

The half demon heard the two girls talking about a guy from her time

A 'for-in exchange st-unt' by the name of Cicero

Jealousy flooded him as the exterminator and future girl spoke

Because she wouldn't have meet this Cicero, if she hadn't gone back to her time

Books filled the time traveling girl's bag; she had much to catch up on

Lipschitz's medical journals, Quadratic equations, all for the up coming tests

Study, study, study, or no exemplifying high school for her

For in her time, she had school, crushes, foreign words, toys, other religions,          and fizzy drinks
