I think it is time that I leave Gondor and Aragorn. I wonder where is Aragorn? Legolas walked into the palace and into Aragorn's room but he was no where to be found. he took a second look at Aragorn's bed and he noticed a small black journal. Now curiosity was not usually a quality of elves but something was intriguing about this journal. It was almost like he needed to read the journal. He slowly crept over to where the journal lay. A poem "Sweet Sadness":

No ending is better than
this sweet sadness
I can't believe it's over
but it never truly started
all hopes and dreams
that were never in reach
forbidden left in dreams memories
a longing always present
sparks forever more
to death my friend and nothing else

"I thought only elves wrote good poetry" whispered Legolas to himself. I wonder who he was thinking of? Arwen or Eowyn? i wonder which one he feels that he can not have or is it a little bit of both? I must remember to ask him sometime.

"Legolas, I've been looking for you." cried out Aragorn.
"I was here looking for you." replied Legolas as he set the journal back on the bed exactly as he had found it. Just in time for Aragorn to walking into the bedroom.
"I hear that you are leaving us?"
"Yes, it is home that my heart calls."
"Well then my dear friend. Until fate brings us together again."
" I hope that time is not to far away."
"Goodbye Legolas." said Aragorn as he held out his hand to say goodbye.
"Goodbye King Aragorn." replied Legolas as he pulled Aragorn into a brief hug.
Then Legolas left the room and Gondor until fate called him back.
