Servant
By Josie Danger
I am a mere servant to my Great Lord. A servant of the Western Lands. I am tied to the land and grateful for the life that was chosen for me. I know my life lies in the hands of my Lord and I am not afraid. I am not afraid to die by the hands that have so cared for me and taken me into consideration. I am a servant who has been cared for and respected, I have my freedoms that I would not be guarantied if I were on my own. I owe everything, my being, my strength and courage to the Lord of the Western Lands. I truly am blessed with the gift that was bestowed upon me. I am no slave, nor should anyone call me that. I am armed with my wit and a staff of two heads. I may look small and helpless, but with my Lord by my side I am irrevocably powerful. My home is with my Lord and country. He holds my life in his hands, and for that I am grateful.
