Pegasus's story

(Pegasus's point of view)
It had been a long night. I woke up and saw my love laying beside me, her long blonde hair falling into her face. I shook her, but she did not wake. Then I noticed that she wasn't breathing.
In full panic, I reached for the phone. A lady answered and said that she would come right away. When the ambulance came, they had requested that I didn't come along. That night I could not sleep. I was so worried that I would lose her forever. The next day I drove so fast to the Hospital that I nearly collided with a truck. When I got there, I asked the doctor if she would live. He told me that she had a deadly virus that attacks the heart, and that she only had a maximum of three years to live. The color drained from my face. Only three years? To be with the love of my life? My angel? I broke down and cried, right then and there. I asked him if I could see her and he said it would be appropriate. I tore into the room and looked upon her. Her face was crimson, and there was a scar on her delicate hand. I asked her if she was aright and she replied harshly.
"How do you think I feel! I'm hideous!" She yelled at me. Tears began streaming down her face. The next day we returned to the hotel that we were staying at. I got the key to room 312 and unlocked the door. I laid her in bed and got her a drink. During that week tensions began to rise between us. Scars began to break out all over her, and she didn't want me around anymore. I could tell that she was in pain. One night I decided to end the suffering. I took the pillow from underneath her head, and I laid it over her face. She was dead in a matter of minutes. Then it hit me like a truck. I had ended the life of my one true love. I ran from the hotel, tears rushing down my face. I had killed her.
Tea closed the diary. It was all clear to them now.
"He killed her." Yugi said. "He had ended her pain and freed her."
