'Red alert''red alert' Tom runs towards the turbolift, Harry's standing in it. 'Hey, what do you think is going on?' harry says. Tom has no idea, as a mather of fact he's not even thinking about what the hell's up now, he's thinking about B'elanna and Miral. She's just so cute, with her little hands and feet and that cute baby face, he just can't wait to get back to her. The turbolift stops, they've arrived on the bridge. Panic has broken out, Janeway is nowhere to be found. Chakotay brings them up to speed, ' the captain and b'elanna have been beamed of the ship' he says 'we have no idea where and why'. Tom breakes out in panic, his wive has been taken!
Harry runs a scan of the vicinity, nothing. A little while later Chakotay calls a staff meeting; 'so we have no idea where they are' he says. Tom feels dizzy, this can't be happening to him, they have just had a baby, no not to him and especially not to B'elanna. 'We have got to find them'he says 'we can't let them down. Tuvok speaks up 'i have to agree with mr. Paris, it is essential to find the captain en B'elanna'. 'For now we'll have to keep going, we don't have a better chance of finding them when we stay here' Chakotay says. They have to agree.
2 days later.............. Tom is on the bridge, he's deeply troubled, they still haven't found B'elanna. Suddenly Harry says 'i'm picking up a vessel 12 kilometres from here and moving away. 'on screen' Chakotay says. 'It's cloaked' 'do it anyway'. 'Harry can you see if they're in there?' Chakotay says. Tom gets a new flash of hope, everything's going to be allright?! 'I'm picking up two human live signs' Harry says. 'Can you beam them over?' 'I can certainly try' 'it's impossible, their shields are to strong, but it might work if we fire at them' Harry says. Tuvok locks fotontorpedo's on the alien ship and there it is 5 seconds later, the command to fire. 'their shields are weakening commander' and a little later 'i've got them sir, they're in sickbay'. Tom feels a great relief. 'Who were they?' Chakotay asks. 'We have no idea sir'.
The doctor hailes the bridge 'you'd better get down here, Tom'. Tom's heart skips a beat. He jumps up and runs to the turbolift, as the doors slide shut he can hear Harry say 'good luck'. Tom storms into sickbay 'what's wrong?' he asks. 'Come here Tom' the doctor says. Tom moves near the bed, there lies B'elanna, criticly injured. He feels his heart breaking. 'is she going to be allright?' he asks. Doc feels troubled, he must tell him, he must tell him how badly B'elanna is injured. He swallows and says 'Tom, i'm sorry but there's nothing I can do for her'. Tom feels like he's dying inside 'she...she's not going to make it?' 'no, i'm sorry Tom' doc says as he lays his hand on Tom's shoulder.
Tom feels tired, so tired, this can't be happening. How can he take care of a baby? And how can he live without B'elanna?. Suddenly monitors start beeping, something's wrong! The doctor comes to B'eleanna' bed, he tries everything but she dies. 'I'm sorry Tom...if there's anything I can do for you' Tom feels like his hart is in a blender, no....this can't be..it just can't. He stands up and kisses B'elanna's forehead, the he turns and walks out of sickbay in tears.
His head is spinning, with all the tears in his eyes he can't see a thing. Harry is walking down the corrider, as soon as he sees Tom's face he knows what happened. 'Tom..are you allright?' Tom swallows and says 'no..... how can I be?'.
