Despite being reaped, Peeta didn't want to give up. Yet, everything seemed to get in his way: Katniss, who he had sworn to protect; his mentor, who was a lousy alcoholic; and now Cato, the boy from District 2 who-for some bizarre reason-decided that Peeta was who he wanted to spend his final days with. Is it once a career, always a career? Does no one truly mourn the wicked?
