Disclaimer: I don't own Mirkwood or any other place stated. I own the dark green cloak and the human.actually I don't think I own them I just made them in my mind.the elf characters I don't own (sadly).they all belong to J.R.R.Tolkien.

A strange figure slowly crept into Mirkwood. The figure appeared to blend in perfectly with the night surroundings of the forest, which may have been caused mostly by the dark green cloak it wore. If anyone had been watching, they would then have seen it raise its head toward the sky, as if listening to some voice in the heavens. Just as they would have noticed this, the shadowy figure began to move once again. However, something was watching.

The cloaked figure moved swiftly but its follower was swifter and noticed deep footprints compared to those that would have been made by an elf.*Human.what is a human doing in Mirkwood? * He then thought of Aragorn who would visit Mirkwood every so often but the tracks were to small to have been Aragorn's.

He easily caught up with the hooded character but he did not allow the human to know that it was being tracked. The pace quickened but he had no problem keeping up with it. Then to his surprise, the being stopped dead in its tracks. A sudden gust of wind took over both of them and the hood was blown off its head. Something then surprised him even more. This was not a man as he had suspected but a woman. Her flowing black hair shined in the moonlight, and almost reached her hips.

He stood in awe at the sight, but as quickly, as her hood had fallen she pulled it back over her head. She then walked underneath an ancient oak, and sat, resting from her journey. *This is my chance* He crept up behind the tree at watched the woman take deep breaths. He quickly drew one of his curved elven blades, grabbed the woman and held the shinning tip up to her neck.

"What business do you have in Mirkwood?" His voice was strong and loud, and startled the woman.

"And who is this being that captures me?" She asked slyly, showing no fear of the elf that could easily kill her.

"I am Legolas Greenleaf, Prince of Mirkwood," He said proudly, but not relaxing the blade. "Who is this strange being that walks through these woods?"
