Disclaimer: I do not own LOTR or Boromir. Personally, I don't think that this poem is as good as "Still Heart" or "A Price" (rhyming is not my forte), and it does nowhere near justice to the wonderful Boromir. ::sigh::

Worry Not: The Death of Boromir

Son of Gondor, lay in peace,

Dreams pass by as e'er you sleep.

Worry not, no troubles linger,

Blessed by Eru's holy finger.

Valiant man, a steward's son,

Worry not that you've not won.

Worry not for shadows pass,

Wind is whistling o'er the grass,

A timeless tune begins to play

Singing softly night and day.

Worry not, recede this pain,

Gone! This death was not in vain!

Gave your life to save another!

To all you knew, you were a brother.

Cease your movement, lay and rest

Sword eternally 'gainst your breast,

Relax your muscles, ease all tension,

Idly laugh when life is mentioned.

Comrades mourn and sadly say,

"Here, a brave man died today.

Farewell, good Boromir; close thine eyes;

Wait for coming paradise."

Son of Gondor, lay in peace,

Ease into e'erlasting sleep.
