A/N: Hi again. I wrote a second poem to this. This one is from Grissom's
POV. I hope you all like it. Please R/R and let me know.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters
Forever and a Day
I look down on her from up above
To see the woman I will always love.
It's not been long since I have died
But over and over she has lied.
They ask "Are you sure you are alright?"
She says "Of course," her voice still tight.
They've finally left and let her be
She asks "Why him? It should have been me."
Then she simply collapsed, fell to the ground
Her angst coming out in a single sound.
With a sob her tears come out in a flood
And pour over the clothes still soaked in my blood.
She lay there for hours doing nothing but cry
And thinking about how she wanted to die.
I watched her drift slowly to sleep
Counting her tears instead of sheep.
As I watched tears on clothing stain
I just wanted to take away all her pain.
But in her dreams she heard me say,
"I'll love you, Sara, forever and a day."
