Chapter 1

It all starts

Alex Kitts, daughter and only heir to the wealthy Kitts estate, ran silently though the night. Her short brown boyish hair was flung behind her. She cursed out her situation. Running from the auroras. Yes it was true she was a Death Eater. But she was much more. Voldemort was her mother's father. This really meant nothing to Alex. She thought it just another useless detail. Running past a tree she grabbed long shadow propped against the trunk, Her quicksilver broom. Still running at full speed the auroas were catching up. Hopping on the broom she took to flight, easily outdistancing them. A shrill laugh escaped her lips as she flew high into the sky.

Knowing it was not safe in Germany still she headed to England. Her grandfathers base of operation was there. Flying high into the sky she speed toward her home but decided it was best not to stop there. Her parents would read about it in the paper. They would know it to be her when it said a mysteries male, and they saw the pic taken of her running. She laughed to herself silently remembering how she was always mistaken for a boy, and not really minding it. It gave her so many chances of escape. And her identity was always safe. Though her mother hated her being so masculine, her father loved it. She was well suited to serve Voldemort. She was strong and sly. Ohh was she sly. This was her 26 raid since the Dark Lord had been reborn into a new body and each one had been stopped by auroas. But she had not once been caught. The fact that she also didn't bear the dark mark helped. For she was connected by something stronger. By blood. She felt it when Voldemort got his new body. She felt when he called his followers. She felt everything he did coursing in her blood.

After a few hours non stop flying she had finally made it to London. She had been here before and knew her way around. She went to the leaky cauldron. All that was there were a few drunk's sound asleep on the tables. She made her way to the back and into Diagon Alley. Maneuvering though the silent dark streets she found her way to Knocturn Alley. Here she decided to stay. Though pitch black and way past midnight she made her way to a certain shop. Knocking on the door a young man opened it. Half asleep her looked down at Alex and freaked.

"What are you doing here?" He asked in a hushed tone.

"I got careless and need a place to stay till I can find my grandfather's second in command." Was all she said as he ushered her in closing the door behind him.
