She climbed up the steps to the bus, water running from her in rivulets. Pulling her wallet from the back pocket of her jeans, she paid the driver and looked around for a seat. Inwardly groaning, she realized that the bus was packed, and she would have to stand. "Just my luck." Grabbing onto a pole, shifting the weight of the bag on her shoulders, she looked around and took stock of her situation. Just to the right of her was a very haggard looking young man who looked like he was just recovering from a wasting sickness. He looked very uncomfortable, often reaching up to loosen the collar of his dress shirt, looking around nervously, and clutching his bag with both hands. She smiled viciously, thinking that her luck might have improved. Ringing the bell, she signaled that she wanted to get off. Walking away from the bus, she smiled again, and pulled the young man's bag out from under her flannel shirt. *** Remus Lupin had noticed the girl get on the muggle bus. She was soaked to the skin, her auburn hair plastered to her forehead. Something about how the pretty girl glanced at him made his skin crawl, but he just clutched the handle of the bag harder. She rode the bus for about ten minutes, and soon Lupin forgot about his uneasy feelings and thought about his mission. "I can't let anyone get hold of this bag," he told himself desperately. "The agents of You-Know-Who are every where." So involved in his thoughts, he didn't notice the girl leaving until he spotted her through the window. She sauntered down the sidewalk, and turned the corner. A nervous habit, he again patted the bag Dumbledore had entrusted to him. When his hand hit the nylon, and the not the leather he had expected, he looked down startled. In his hand was the girl's backpack. For a second Lupin froze, until he was jerked back to the present when the bus began to move. Collecting his scattered wits he frantically rung the bell, and hopped off the bus as soon as the doors were open, ignoring the bus driver's black look. Pulling his wand from his pocket, he muttered an incantation and set off at a brisk walk, following the magic trail only he could see.

Hey! I'm trying to come up for a name for the main character! If anyone has any suggestions, you can submit a review or just e-mail me! And if you can think of a really good title I would praise your name forever!
