CHAPTER II - The Market Place
Ryo walked through the menacing crowd of the marketplace, it was a place where all bargain hunters roamed.
A Korean man approached Ryo and wanted to take his picture but Ryo refused.
"No thanks" Ryo replied, but the man persisted. "Oh come on boy, you could give it to your family and girlfriend! Imagine how delighted they'd be."
The man took the picture anyway and Ryo was blinded by the flash. He took the Polaroid photo out of the camera and began to shake it. "My...my " said the photographer
A nearby Chinese woman looked very unpleased. "You know Heng will try to sell that to you now!"
Heng gave Ryo the photograph. "This picture is worth buying! This the best photo I have taken! Not taking it would be a lost opportunity!"
Ryo was still not keen on the idea but decided to look at the photograph anyway. It was odd looking at himself, he had not looked in a mirror for quite sometime. He looked in the background of the photo. It was then he saw something incredible in the blue sky. Wrote in smoke was the word 'Destiny'.
Ryo decided to buy the photograph for a few dollars. This word written in the sky was everything to him. It was his destiny to find Lan Di.
