Secret Love
It had been a long, hard day. I was woken up early for the mission. The mission was really simple too. Sneak into the main building, download some info, and get the hell out of there before the building blew. Heero and I were on the mission and though it seemed quite easy it wasn't. We almost got captured not to mention make it out in time, but with some quick thinking from the Perfect Soldier we survived.
Now, I lay here on our bed, watching him write up the report. Sometimes, I really hate that damn laptop of his. I feel as if I come second to it for he seems to pay more attention to it than to me. I told him that once, while we laid in bed, and he gave me a passionate kiss and told me that it was just an asset, a thing, and that I always came first in his heart. Up until that point, I had never thought of my lover as the real romantic type. Guess I was wrong.
So deep in my thoughts, I hadn't noticed that Heero had left the computer till I noticed the extra weight on the bed. I looked up over to see cobalt eyes staring at me. He smiled at me. A smile only meant for me and only I've seen.
"I caught you off guard again," he said upsizing the word again.
"Hey, give me a break, the mission's over and besides I was thinking," I told him.
"That's true. What were you thinking about that was so distracting?"
"Us making hot, passionate love on this bed right now," I replied jokingly.
"That can be arranged," Heero said leaning in closer.
"I was just jok..." I began but was silenced by Heero's mouth and his hands removing my shirt.
An hour later, we lay under the covers, with his arm around me, running his fingers through my hair. I looked up at him and pushed away the dark strands of hair covering his eyes. Revealing to me those cobalt eyes that I've fallen in love with.
"Do you know how much I love your hair?" he asked breaking the silence.
"I think it's about as much as I love your eyes," I replied with a grin.
Soon the tiredness of the mission and tonight's actions caught up with me and I could feel my eyes close.
"I love you, Heero," I said snuggling closer to him.
"I love you too, Duo, always," he said letting sleep claim us both for the night.
