_The Battle of Helm's Deep_
The darkness closed upon them
Boxed in at the Keep
The Elves arrived to aid them
To help defend Helm's Deep
They watched for them over the wall
The Uruk army marched
The rain began to fall
Over ground once parched
The army stopped abruptly
The silence closed in fast
Although the looming silence
Was not destined to last
An arrow, shot from the Deep,
Struck dead an Uruk Hai
The leader of the Uruks roared
A blood curdling cry
To destroy the race of Men
Is the Uruk Hai's main goal
So they fight-ten thousand strong-
With all their heart and soul
Three hundred Human soldiers,
Against ten thousand Uruk Hai-
The likely ending of this battle,
Is that the Men shall die.
And so they did-die I mean-
The outcome looking grim
Then on the dawn of the fifth day
Arrived the Rohirrim
The King rode out to fight
Against the Reckless Hate
For Wrath, for Ruin, for the Red Dawn
His future did await
The Uruk Hai who thought to
Box in the defenseless Eorlings
Found themselves left to face
The other side of things
To the East, the Rohirrim,
Eorlings to the West
The final battle the did lose
And learned they're not the best.
The darkness closed upon them
Boxed in at the Keep
