Chapter 1. The dream
Kagome Higurashi is a normal 15 year old girl from modern day Japan. That is if you ignore the fact that she is the reincarnation of a priestess, was transported to the feudal age Japan and works together with a hanyou, demon exterminator, a perverted monk, and a little fox demon to find all the pieces of the Shikon no Tama.
'Kagome-chan' her mother yells furiously at her. 'Remember after school to help your grandfather at the shrine.' Kagome in her half asleep state answers back 'Yes mom I wont forget, oh and mom I need you to pick up some fabric from the store. Im helping sango make a kimono for the up coming school dance. 'Kagome-chan that reminds me did you get a date for the dance yet?' Her mother patiently waits for her daughters reply. 'Mom im not going to the dance, remember? Besides I don't like any of the boys in my class.' Kagome now getting annoyed at her mother's persistence this past week. 'I need to get ready for school so if your done asking me questions I'd appreciate it if you left me alone for a little while. 'What about that nice hoji boy at school, he seems to really like you. He keeps calling all the time asking if your home'
*A loud noise is heard* Kagome-chan! Come here you didn't do your chores. Kagome-chan? Now where did she go off to.
Kagome had left for school and slammed the door on her way out, tired of hearing her mother complain about not having a date yet.
Kagome just sits and daydreams the whole first period starring out the window *I mean its not like I can't get a date its just I miss inuyasha so much. I miss the way his smells of earth, rain, forest. I miss the way he smirks like its no big deal when were battling and he gets hurt. I miss his stubbornness. I have a bad felling about this whole "Leavign for a month" thing I mean a lot could happen in a month* 'Kagome!' Sango yells while standing in line to get her food in the cafeteria Kagome turns around 'Hey sango' Kagome starts to think 'Hey sango after you get your lunch can I talk to you on the patio?' Sango looked puzzled by kagome question but kagome seemed to look serious about it. ' Sure kagome ill just get some fries and a water then, besides there isn't much lunchtime left. 'Why do these lines have to be so long, maybe I should start bringing my lunch.' Sango grabs her food and follows kagome outside 'Ok so what did you want to tell me' sango asks impatiently Kagome hushes sango, she doesn't want anyone to hear 'ok this is it, Two days ago I had a dream that inuyasha disappeared
