"Ah, Bach. A wonderful composer. His work was fullof feeling! Can you feel it Mr.Matthews?&" inquired Mr. Feeny.

"No, Mr.Feeny. I do believe that you are full of something, and it ain't feeling!" responded Eric Matthews who was accompanying George Feeny to a gathering of Bach fans.

"Now Mr.Matthews!' complained George.

"Don't you 'Mr. Mathews' me! Now if you don't mind, I'm going to go Bach to the tableand get some punch. Care forsome?" questioned Eric in his best buisness-like voice.

"Yes, if you don't mind, I would like a glass of something."

"Very well, Mr. Feeny. I'll see to it rightaway," Eric mocked as he strutted away.

"Oh my," was all that came from Mr. Feeny's mouth.

Eric made his way to the refreshment table. As carefully as her could, he gingerly poured the red punch into a cup for himself with out spilling a drop. Next, he tool one fo Mr. Feeny. He then helped himself to a plateful ofcookies.

Chewing with is mouth wide open, Eric made his way back across the room.

"Hey, Feeny!" he shouted as he reached the halfway point between Mr. Feeny andthe table.

"Mr.Matthews!" exclaimed Feeny showing the annoyance and embarrassment in his voice. "I thought I told you to keep the 'Hey, Feeny's' to a minimum!"

"Oh, right. Sorry, man, I forgot. These things are da bomb!"

"This was a mistake. Come on, we're leaving."

"No, no, no! We can't leave now! Da party is just getting started!"

"Eric. NO!"

Eric made his was up to the stage, where there was an open microphone just waiting for him to use it.

"Can I have everybody's attention please? I'd like to get this place bumpin!"

"Eric. Get down from there!"

"Was that a request? Alright then!"

(Get Down Tonight starts playing)

Eric smiled a smile of grim satisfaction as all the old Bach fans started dancing the night away to the jamin' tunes of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He got them out of their boring rut, and into the modern world. Heck, even Mr.Feeny started livin' it up that night. Sure he was a little rusty but who isn't? Anyway, they all had fun, and they decided to invite the young Eric Matthews to their next function, a tribute to Mozart. Yup, fun there too.
