Chapter 2
"Well, we're here," said Fox. "Yeah, and it doesn't seem that bad here," Samus said. "Well," said Link, "we should still be careful." The group went into the castle, and saw that all the lights were out. They went up the stairs, and there they found: "Kirby!" Kirby was lying there, tied up tight by some Moblins. Link slashed them away while Fox untied Kirby. "Kirby, are you all right?" Samus asked. "Yeah," he said, "some Moblins came and tied me up, and took Mario away." "Mario," Link said, " I almost forgot about him! Fox, take Kirby back to ONH, Samus and I will go find Mario." "Right, see ya!" With that, Fox took off. "Let's go find Mario." Samus said. The two traveled deeper into the castle, which seemed to get darker and darker as they went on. Finally, the two stumbled upon a big lava pit, and saw Mario on the other side! "Mario, we're coming!" Samus saw an opening through a stone wall that goes around the bridge. She rolled into a morph ball to get through, but ended up outside. "Samus," said Fox, "what are you doing here?!" "I was trying to get around a lava pit, but I ended up out here." "What about Link?" "He's probably still in there," said Samus, "I hope he's ok." "Yeah," Fox said, "me too." Meanwhile, in the lava chamber, Link got across the pit using his hookshot. When he got there, he found that the man there wasn't Mario at all. "Who are you?" said Link. "My name," said the man, "is Lucas Reigan."
