Disclaimer: These characters belong to the genius that had the imagination to come up with a show like Farscape and they in no way belong to me, though I sometimes wish they did.

Censor: U I think. Just some fluff to make the day go by.

Authors Note: This is just a quick fic that I came up with once when I was in town and walked past the dress shop. It's dedicated to my boyfriend Edward. I love you forever. P.S. if anyone is interested in beta-ing for me please get in touch. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

The dress tumbled over her hips and cascaded down to the floor where her toes poked out from under the hem. The top half of the dress that John described as a 'corset,' hugged her figure from the waist upward, making her already slim figure, thinner. The bodice was strapless and the somewhat rigid front, pushed her breasts up and together. It was most impractical. She swore that if she bent forward then she would fall out of the dress, causing more than a few blushes. Aeryn let her long black hair loose from the tight, regulation braid she was used to having it tied up in. The shiny locks gently unfolded over her shoulders and partially covered the back of the dress. She ran her fingers through the roots of her hair, shaking it out and almost laughing as the stray strands tickled her neck. John often told her that it looked like raw silk. She hoped that was a good thing. Aeryn crossed the room carefully, not wanting to trip on the dress. She passed her bunk, where the golden cover was folded down neatly, waiting for her to climb into bed. She glanced at the plump pillows. Tempting, but no. She'd been frightened for too long.

John was nervously drumming his fingers on the control consol as he waited for Aeryn to appear in command. It was ridiculous. He'd waited five years for this day and now it had come, he was unbelievably nervous. He turned swiftly as he heard bare feet padding closer. The others stopped talking. Even Chiana shut up. As Aeryn appeared in the doorway, John did a double take. She looked like a goddess. He drank in the view. The ice blue dress fitted perfectly. She had been very apprehensive when he picked it out. He was glad she'd agreed to wear it. As she walked further into command, her hair blew back gently at the edges and she blushed, smiling at John appreciative appraisal.

She reached his side and intertwined her fingers with his. "I'm scared." She admitted quietly. John kissed her quickly and smiled. "So am I," he whispered back. She smiled at him. He'd never seen anything seen her look more beautiful. John pulled his princess close and kissed her again, for longer this time, before they turned to face their friends, waiting to perform their part of the marriage ceremony designed to be acceptable in all their cultures. Aeryn ran a hand over the front of her dress that effortlessly skimmed over the small, growing bump her stomach made. The dress flowed flawlessly over it. Flawless, just like John and Aeryn's perfect day.
