A WALK TO REMEMBER 2: JAIME'S RECOVERY
Prologue: Everyone hey look closely at the title of this story, yep Jaime's recovery, ...what if she recovered and was able to live a few years longer? Here is the sad and romantic tale.
Chapter: 1 Jaime and Landon walked down the aisle together smiling and not caring about the cancerous problems that Jaime may face ahead .All they thought about was their undying love for each other and as Reverend Sullivan said "....In sickness and in health, til death do you part". They knew that he was correct no matter what challenges ahead they would make it together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~TWO WEEKS LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~ Landon had that glint in his eye that Jaime knew quite well nowadays, he was up to something. "Landon..." said Jaime carefully. "What are you doing? " Landon smiled at her "Get in the car.... Come with me ". Jaime agreed and sat down in shotgun, when Landon got into the car he said, "Put this on" and handed Jaime a blindfold. She agreed willingly. As the rode on and on, silent and peaceful in the car, Jaime wondered where they were going but when Landon abruptly stopped the car and got out reaching for Jaime's hand to lead her to the destination...she had a good idea on where they were going....."We are here "said Landon pulling off the blindfold, Jaime gasped. It was a beautiful house painted blue with a white trim... She saw it months ago and said wouldn't that be a lovely place to live? After the ceremony they lived in an apartment but now they have a home. It took three weeks to move in, they held a party and all of their good friends and family were there. It was there that they announced that Jaime was pregnant. Everyone gasped then the celebrating really started. Everyone rushed up to Jaime who was fondly holding Landon's hand, to congratulate her. Jaime all the sudden felt lightheaded, the crowd, she couldn't take it and the room started to spin and spin then she collapsed right there in Landon's arms. Jaime awoke in her bed and Landon and Reverend Sullivan were by her side. " Just alittle overworked " said Reverend Sulllivan. "Daddy...Will i be able to have children?" Landon and Reverend Sullivan stopped and looked at eachother could she ??? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NINE MONTHS LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Landon sit in the waiting room for the doctors to finish up teaching Jaime how to feed the baby. After a 21 hour labor Jaime and Landon were very tired , Landon cut the cord of his beautiful baby girl. Jaime and Landon had no idea on what to name their daughter. "Mr. Carter you may come in now...." said the nurse. Landon walked in and there laying on the bed was Jaime, exhausted. Hey hon,...said Landon he walked over and brushed the hair away from her faced and leaned in to kiss her. Landon walked over to his daughter and picked her up , then said to Jaime what should we name her ? Jaime looked at her little girl and said finally "Lily". All the sudden the baby started to scream uncontrolebly. THe doctors rushed in and they all tried to get her to stop crying them after a half an hour they took her to a different room. "where are they taking her"? asked Landon. The doctor replied to run tests. About a half an hour later the doctors confirmed it , Lily was not only very scared she was deaf.
