Summary: Kinda weird piece written after "Phase One". Who elses heart was going a billion miles per hour?
A/N: written in five minutes and I didn't spell check or proof read, sorry! My first Alias piece!
It's all over! I stand and survey the destruction. Desks, chairs, computers, papers, and so much more, part of my life, all of our lifes, lays in ruins on the floor.
No more SD-6. No more Alliance.
I watch as each person, my friends, my family, are dragged from the room. My heart froze at the glare from Dixon.
No more lies. No more hurt.
My eyes catch Michael's and the mask I've worn for over a year slips off. He takes a step toward me cautiously.
No more hiding.
As if in a dream, we walk towards each other, floating over the rubble of our pasts. Papers, glass, computers, and so much more crunch beneath us, but I don't hear it.
No more worries.
My lips touch his, and nothing else matters.
No more fear.
I vaguely hear Weiss talking in the background, but I don't care anymore. It's over. We're safe, even if for just one moment.
No more bondage.
