City of Angels
2:
Remember me always
This is just an introductory page, I'm sorry but I really think I should bring you up to speed. If you have watched the first City of angles, then you don't need to read this and wait for the next chapter. But for those of you who haven't, you need to read this before you read my story. That is if you believe in romance, drama, hope, and love in every old fashion way.
If you believe in any type of higher being, than you most likely believe in angles. In this story and City of Angles 1, one of the greatest movies ever made, they roam the earth, everywhere, watching us, and taking us to our "home" when we die. They can feel no pain, or emotion, or elements like the wind, or being wet. However, in some rare cases angles fall in love and they believe so passionately in love, that they sacrifice their immortality, and their perfection to live here on earth, as normal mortals. And in all cases in the world some end good, others end in sorrow. This was the Case for the main character of City of Angles, Seth. He gave up his immortality for the woman he loved, but she was taken away from him as soon as he found her. How can an angel turn mortal? Well, I'll explain.
Rule one, an angel must keep his duties in order, they must discover their own free will for themselves. Rule two, an angel must never feel emotions or senses, if they were to do so, they may all become free spirited, and that wold lead to total disaster for the souls of the human race. Third, an angel is not human. It never was, but it can become so by falling. Falling out of a tall window, a building, bridge, whatever they chose. And after that, they are mortal. They can feel pain, or happiness, Joy, the whole package with any normal human. What is an angel exactly?
Forget everything you think you know. There is no sacred light about them, no wings, no robes. They look like men in trench coats. They are not to be seen with our eyes, except on three occasions. One, children can see them, mabey because they think with their imaginations, instead of logic. Two, they can be seen only when they want to be seen. Rarely does an angel let you see him or her. And three, when we die, our minds are freed into full understanding. We can then see them for, and let them take us home. It's all really a matter of perception.
Now that you know the basics, let's start our story. It all began with Seth. He had lost his love to fate. Now he roamed the Earth in isolation. He was a very good angel. He had never strayed off coarse till he met her. Now she was gone, and he was in despair. The higher powers had a time trying to find a replacement, but they found a young and whitty angel, by the name of Rikku.
