How long has it been there?
It is a mark I'll always have to bare
A wound that will never heal
Because of many innocents that have been killed

But the one loss that caused that wound to appear
Wasn't a death at all
But the pain that came with it hurt most of all

How could they hurt someone like her?
Such beautiful and young girl
She was just turning into a woman
But now she seems frozen there in that bed
Never to love any man
Just to lay there and appear dead

Her seemingly eternal sleep
Was what caused that wound to be so deep
The pain to never hear her call
Was what made up that Crimson Scar
