Chapter 1: New Beginning
'Buzz...buzz...buzz...buzz' "Oh shut up" Yelled a fifteen year old boy with shoulder length blonde hair and intense aqua blue eyes while whacking his alarm clock. "Konrad come get your breakfast dear" said Mrs.Black. "Coming mom" answered Konrad. Today Konard was especially happy he would be getting his first pokemon and he could finally start his ow pokemon adventure. He put on baggy black sweats a red T-shirt under a black short sleeved dress shirt which he kept unbuttoned he also put on black sneakers and finally a black cap with a red L letter. He also grabbed his black backpack and a black pokedex along with his black and red pokegear. And finally grabbed a pokeball belt which he put on while running down the stairs. "Sorry mom but I cant eat right now im supposed to meet Ruby and Paku at the Pokemon Lab" said Konrad "I'll call you when I get to Violet City see ya."
"Make me proud honey"exclaimed Mrs.Black
Konrad checked the time when walking out the door it was 7:55am which meant he would have to run if he didn't want to be late.
"Hey guys, im not late am I ?" asked Konrad
"Nope right on time" answered Ruby a 15 year old girl with hazel eyes and honey brown hair. She was wearing black leather pants a red tank top and a black matching leather jacket. "There's a first time for every thing" joked Paku. A 15 year old boy with black hair and light green eyes. He was wearing blue baggy shorts a white T-shirt and black sneakers.
"You never stop joking do you" asked Konrad "Nope"
"Shall we get our starters then" exclaimed Paku while striking a heroic pose. As they steped in they saw a tierd looking Prof. Elm. "Well, I have some bad news for you kids, I have given away all the starters away.'' "What" screamed Konrad while Ruby looked pale all of the sudden. "Is there no other way we can get some pokemon ?'' asked Paku hopefully. "Hmm, well I supose, if I remember correctly Arcanine is Konrads favourite, Alakazam is Rubys and Dragonite is yours Paku." said Prof. Elm
"Well hold on."
After about two minutes Prof. Elm came back holding three ultra balls. He handed one to each trainer.
"Well go on check them out'' said the Prof. enthusiasticaly.
Paku threw the ball and said "Go" and from the ultra ball emerged a Dratini. "Wow thanks Prof. Elm" said Paku. Next Ruby threw her poke ball and said "Go" and an Abra emerged. "Cool, thanks Proffessor." "You are most welcome Ruby." Konrad simply held the ultra ball in his hand and said "Go" a red beam shot out and seconds later a Growlithe. "Thank you." As Ruby and Paku were recalling their pokemon Konrad walked up to his pokemon and said "I think I'll call you Blaze" just when he took the pokeball out to return Growlithe, Blaze growled at the pokeball.
"Im guessing you dont like pokeballs" said Konrad "guess you will have to walk then." As the trio walked out the lab Ruby asked "Why are you keeping your Growlithe out of his pokeball ?''
"First of all his name is Balze and second of all he dosent like pokeballs so im not gona make him stay in one."
"Ohh ok" said Ruby. "See ya Proffessor "said Konrad as the they walked out of the lab. They just took their first step on the road to become champions.
