Title: Passions Embrace
Author: Fire
Spoliers: (thinks for a minute) nope not a one. ;-)
Disclaimer: They all belong to CBS, not mine darn it!
Pairing: Hehehe....Guess before the end
Passion. It consumes us all at one time or another. Rising from the depths of our soul, unbidden, unwanted at times. It comes in the guise of many things; A new found intrest in a hobby, a feirce all consuming wanting to fight for a good cause, but more often than not, it comes in the form of pure want, of unbriddled lust for another person. Sometimes no-one can tell that one person longs for another, or that the object of that longing also feels the same. If you know what to look for, you can see past the calm fasade that they put on and have a glimpse into their very soul.
No-one notices me, I am almost invisable to everyone. I like it that way, because if no one notices me, then that gives me the opportunity to notice the smallest of details without ever giving myself away. As I watch them fighting over the newest case, disagreeing on certine things but agreeing on others, fighting like mad one minute and smileing the next. It is obvious to me that these two people what each other, they just don't want to admit it to themselves. But you see the really interesting thing is, that I am the only one that notices, their co-workers don't have the slightest inkling of what is going on. Even that blonde is clueless, the one I thought to be the one that notices these things as well, but the reason for that is because she wants him as well. She wants him so much that it clouds her normally sharp and focused mind, it distorts her preception of reality until she can see only him.
Those two draw me like a moth to a flame, I am almost obsessed with seeing what they are going to be doing the next time I see them. The chemestry between them is almost palable, you can sense the tension whenever they get within twenty feet of each other. I think that they try to brush it off because they couldn't handle what would happen if they finally got together.
As I stand in the hall I hear her light twinkling laughter fill the air, followed soon after by his deep, rueful chuckle. They get along so well, they are ment to be, or at least the way I see it they are. Something like this you can't deny for long, if you do it eats you up inside, knawing at your heart until it can't take it anymore and you do something in haste that you might regret.
They both emerge from the lab and smile at me as I pass.
"Good morning Grace." They both tell me almost in the same instance. Smiling sweetly at them I pick up another waste basket and dump it into my cart, my brooms and mops clattering as I move it by them.
"Good morning Mr. Grission. Good morning Miss. Sidel." I walk past them and dissapear down the hall. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but heed my words, it will be someday very soon. Both Gill Grisson and Sara Sidel will feel passions embrace.
