Author's Note: Second chapter. Draco's mentioned. Hehe. Nice reviews appreciated. Constructive criticism is also bearable.

Chapter Two - Malfoy's Mistake

Draco Malfoy, in Harry's opinion, was one of the foulest Slytherins to ever walk free at Hogwarts. Usually accompanied by his tremendously huge, yet rather stupid, pair of followers, Crabbe and Goyle, he could be heard throughout the halls, usually taunting Harry Potter.

The cauldron had tipped over and started seeping all over the halls. It hit Malfoy first.

He could feel an unpleasant sensation conquering him. It was as if he had been plunged into an ice cold shower. The adrenaline spread like wildfire all the way to the tips of his fingers. Suddenly a change had occurred. He felt as if he had been flipped inside-out. Though he couldn't exactly pinpoint what had happened, he knew one thing: He no longer despised Hermione...

The potion continued to seep through the floor and into the commonrooms. Hermione made a run for it before it hit her. She got safely back to the commonrooms. As she panted against the door, she looked up and screamed. Her voice rang clear through the halls of Hogwarts...
