Chapter 1
Janeva's lungs were burning she had been running for the past 10 minutes.The sky above her was black as coal with a few rouge stars gracing the night it was a quiet night a kind of night that made you feel so alone.Janeva didn't really know what she was running from but she didn't dare turn her head to catch a glimpse for fright of lossing her footing.She ran down a dark alleyway only to find a dead end, she did what every one would do in this situation, screamed.Her lungs were empty of air causing only a faint wheeze and she doubted even the people next door heard her.The thing chasing her rounded the corner and blocked the only visible exit, what Janeva saw horrified her, 4 feet tall with black spread wings and long razor sharp nails was closing in on her.She tried to climb the wall only to find herself wasting time, she turned around to come face to face with this creature.Then as though the world didn't exist...silence then a spine tingling voice said.
"All alone, so alone, the wind talks when you are alone...you must be very brave to walk at night"
"W-w-what d-do you w-want"Janeva managed to squeak.
"I'm hungry"Janeva drew in a sharp gasp, tears now rolling down her cheaks.
"P-please d-d-dont...e-eat me"The creature lazily trailed a dirty claw nail down her arm leaving a string of blood.
"Eat you?"It seemed to think about this idea and shake it's head."No no no no, i have something...better in mind"The creature was looking strangly at her which caused her to whimper.A passerby crossed the street, she wanted so badly to call out to them but her limited knowledge of this thing caused her to keep quiet.
"Oh yes many things for you"
