"So, did you get the forms?" the blond haired blue eyed Shuru asked Ryshuo. "Yeah," he brushed black hair out of red eyes. "Are we gonna enter? You and me, and Rai and Jayzar?" Shuru asked, fiddling with his Beyblade. "Yeah! Come on, let's go!" Ry stopped at a dish in the concrete and pulled out his black blade and launcher. "I told the others to meet us here,"

"Alright!" Shuru set his green beyblade. "Best of three, on 3.2.1.Let it rip!" he pulled his launcher before Ry, circling the dish as Ry's blade landed in the middle and sliced up the side, flipping in the air and landing on the side of Shy's blade. This sent it flying back to him.

"Where'd you learn that?" the Chinese Rai asked. He was Ry's brother and had exactly the same hair and eyes. He wore a yellow on white battle robe over blue shirt and pants. Ry's was orange on green over white. Only last month they had won a double-team championship together. Personality wise, he was very straightforward, athletic and quiet. Ry was loud and a bit of a couch potato. Shuru was Ry's best friend. They were both 13. Rai and Jay were 15 and 16. Shuru wore combat boots and pants, with a green shirt and brown vest. He liked to end battles quickly with strategy, and thought battles based on power were a waste.

"Probably from me," Jay said in answer to Rai's question. He had red hair spiked straight up and blue eyes. He was fiery and temperamental. He wore baggy navy pants, white shirt and a leather jacket. He was the oldest of their team, named the Blade Warriors. Each had a customized jacket like Jay's, with Blade Warriors on the back.

Ry's blade was still spinning. Jay and Rai drew their blades and launched into the dish, and in a whiz of purple and white. Ry's blade was smashed out. The blades returned to their owners. A cold, evil laugh sounded. "You really think you can actually win the tournament?" a boy asked. He had grey-blue hair and red eyes. He wore Devil brand arm guards and a long white scarf. His blue pants were baggy and he wore a tight sleeveless black shirt. Three people behind him sniggered.

"Kai!" Ry stepped forward. "I mean, you don't even have bit beasts," he held up his Dranzer blade. "That's where you're wrong," Jay stepped forward and held up his blue and white blade. A horse bit beast was in it. "So, you finally have a bit of power," Kai sneered. "Care to try it?" "Unicolyon won't lose!" Jay insisted. "On 3.2.1 Let it rip!" Rai yelled. "Dranzer!" Kai yelled. The fire bird came out and hit Unicolyon. "Now!" Jay yelled. His bit horse attacked back. Sparks flew as the blade collided one last time and sprung back to their owners. "Kai's never been beaten!" one of the blade sharks yelled. "That was not a loss. That was a draw," he turned to Jay. "Next time we meet, I won't go easy on you!" He walked away.

"Next time we meet will be at the tournament finals!" Ry yelled.
