This is just how I imagine a song should be.. emotion-filled..
It starts.. a low, dark, menacing rumble of sound.. it comes from the string bass and tuba.. and as if they understand the pain from within, the trombones join and add their desperate, soulful notes to the dark note of the tuba.. then, an answering call from the trumpets.. they aren't dark like the tuba or desperate as the trombones are.. instead, they are hopeful.. as they add in, hope is given to the other brass, and the tone changes.. its more friendly.. and, as the happiness starts, the saxophones add their cheerful notes.. the sound of the saxophones and trumpets intermingle and weave together.. sometimes in harmony, other times, fighting with each other.. clarinets joining in.. as they add their lower notes to the mix, the fighting starts again.. this time, there must be a victor.. the tuba adds his dark note.. the flutes, above all the noise of the fight, rise to speak of the happiness once known, but is now torn.. the trombones join the fight, but too late.. there is one last wailing note from the only trumpet left, but even that dies out.. and the saxophones, although victorious, are not happy.. they cry into the night all alone.. for no other instrument can understand their guilt, their grief.. the clarinets and flutes try to bring happiness, but the saxophones will not be pacified.. and they slowly die out.. until there is only one left.. crying for those that have been lost.. one last piercing shriek, and there are none.. and the only sound made is that low, dark, menacing rumble of a note coming from the string bass and the tuba..
Review if you like.. flames mean I get to have smores for dessert..
