Tassadars last stand
This Is just a short story I made, after watching the ending for Star Craft a few times, I noticed how sad Tassadar seemed and decided to right a short story about what he was thinking in his last few minutes.
Tassadar looked down, as a Battle Cruiser went down nearby, having been swarmed by a group of scourges. He watched as Zerg battled against Protoss and Terran. The Overmind, shuddered has another blast hit it.He watched has Zealots ran forward, to sacrifice themselves for there home planet of Aiur! They died, bravely, and honorably. He watched, as Marines desperately fired at Hydralisk's and Ultralisk's hopping that they would not be the next to die. They showed fear, but there resolve more than made up for it...
"Enough!" He said, "I can not let any more of my people die, I will not let this battle continue!"
I will do what I must. Thought Tassadar sadly as he gazed at the Overmind, through the hull of his ship.
"Executor." Said Tassadar, he quickly sent a message to the great Executor... "We, have managed to do a sizable amount of damage to the Overmind, but I fear that we have taken much damage ourselves... But I have a plan, if I can channel enough power through the hull of the Ganrithor, I may be able to bring swift death to the Overmind, I wish you much luck, good bye, Executor... And Entaro Adun!"
He then pointed the Ganrithor, at the Overmind. A swam of Multitasks flew in to stop him. The Overmind had realized what he was planning! Tassadar just mentally laughed, well a little anyways, the Overmind may have realized what he was about to do, but it was to late. The vile creature would not escape, it would not consume them, like it had done to so many other... It would do no more harm upon them...
"I will make sure that you will not!" Said Tassadar as the Ganrithor flew closer, "This is the last thing I can do for my people...It is time, to meet your end, as it is time, for mine."
He continued to call upon more energy, as more white energy circled around his body, there was then a bright flash in the sky, as the grew energy larger and more powerful.
"Goodbye my people." Said Tassadar silently. "Goodbye my friends, I have no regrets, this will be my last time I will ever see you again..."
Now it is time, he thought as he yelled out, all the energy left his body and flew around the ship, it then barreled forward and crashed into the Overmind.
"Come it is time, that you saw your end." Said Tassadar, has a he faded away and the Overmind blew apart. The Overmind, was slowly sucked in, along with Tassadar's soul. I just hope that this will be enough, to save my people, thought Tassadar a bit sadly. He then felt himself lifted up into the vortex above him, as was the Overmind. The Vortex, then slowly closed, forever, leaving them alone in there... At the ruined battlefield the Executor stood on a hill, overlooking the spot where the Overmind once slept. Raynor, Fenix and Zeratual, stood there with him.
"He's gone..." Said Zeratual silently.
"Yes, but he died like the most Star Walt warrior I have ever seen." Responded Fenix.
"What do you think happened to him?" Asked Raynor a bit silently.
"I don't know..." Responded the Executor, he then looked up at the sky, where the void had once been. "But wherever he is, I hope that he is safe and happy... And I'm sure, that he will always be watching us..."
Tassadar's spirit, then continued to watch over his people... Even, to this very day...
