Harry Potter was arriving at Hogwarts for his 5th year. After a long summer
of being emotionally and physically abused by the Dursleys he felt like he
was going home. He had to best friends Ron and Hermione. Harry and Hermione
had been dating for about 6 months now. Harry thought that it made Ron feel
like the third wheel but Ron never complained. "I can't wait to be back at
Hogwarts" said Harry "This summer's been the worst. I must have 50 scars
and bruises." " I know a way to make them feel all better" said Hermione
romantically. Ron sniggered a little "I'll tell everybody to keep out of
the library tonight" he through a meaningful look at Harry. Ron was happy
for his friends, they both deserved each other. Ron still wished he had
what Harry had. It seemed to him that Harry got everything. Ron knew Harry
didn't ask for it and sometimes he didn't want it but it was hard not to
feel jealous.
The train moved on slowly but surely. The snack cart had come around. Harry always bought enough candy for him and Ron since he knew Ron didn't have a lot of money. The compartment door slid open unexpectedly. Draco Malfoy waltzed in with his to flunkies Crab and Goyle. "Well if it isn't the famous trio back from summer vacation" he said smoothly. "Go curse yourself Malfoy, and do us all a favor" said Ron, who was standing up looking threateningly at Malfoy. "Standing up for Scar-Head and the Mudblood are you Weasley, be careful you don't want that wand to backfire." "This is a new wand Malfoy so don't you feel stupid!" Ron spat back ( I mean literally spat) with confidence. "Come on boys" said Malfoy "I don't want to get air- born Mudblood germs."
"He really ticks me off!" said Ron. Hermione had suddenly become quiet and pulled out her arithmancy book and started to study. "I could've taken care of him" Harry said, it was obvious he was disappointed he didn't get a chance to tell Malfoy off in front of his girlfriend. "Don't worry Harry you'll have plenty of chances to beat the crap out of that Slytherin bastard when we get to school." Ron answered a little annoyed that he hadn't been thanked once for getting rid of Malfoy.
