FFX Poetry To Zanarkand and Back Again

A poem written to the song "To Zanarkard". This poem is a tribute to Tidus and his past.

In the beginning

Everything was so new

So beautiful

This was my life

But I never knew

I never knew it would end out

All never existing

My whole world a dream

For what?

For the future of Spira?

For the future of her?

I don't know what it means any more

I just want to go home

I want to see those high skyscrapers again

I want to hear the roar of the crowd

I want to return to the ignorance

Before I knew my world wasn't real

I'm tired and wish to escape

This nightmare that dreams

Dreams of me

And my whole world

Of my Zanarkand

My Zanarkand that's left me

Left me without

Anything but a dream
