Ginny took a step back. This wasn't her husband of 2 years. This wasn't the man whom she had
loved for so long, who was the father of their child, Hunter. He was right it was his decision,
and a selfish one at that. It's not as if you can be a Death Eater one day, and then come running
back to Dumbledor the next!
And she wouldn't stand for him to drag down this family with him....if they were a family any
more, that is. This war had torn them part, and she'll be damned if she'll let it hurt her
son as well.
Draco stood there, hair uncharacteristically ruffled, cheeks flushed from yelling. He seldom lost
control, but the barrier of comfort for things 'that shouldn't be talked about' was wearing thin,
and it had to break some time. That time was now.
She walked straight up to him, and even though she was a few inches shorter,
looked him in the eye.
Just staring.
"What?" He said in a low, warning voice.
His eyes were glued to hers, waiting for what she had to say.
That's why he never saw it coming.
*SMACK*
Draco recovered quickly, eyes narrowed and glittering dangerously.
"I just wanted to see if I could find Draco...but its funny really,
that every time I look at your face I only see Lucius"
And with that she picked up their one-year old son, and strode out of the manor.
