When you look outside, do you see the trees that are falling, the moon that never stops dying, or the sky that catches all your dreams. My world is blank without those false optimism, their hope I see painted in the air I breathe. When summer's gone, I force myself back into his cage. The world is blank ever so softly without emotion. His eyes are green, mine are emerald. His skin is tan, mine is olive colored hue. I see his world, but he can't see me.

I walk his every foot-step but I don't know where to place my feet. He knows where to go, he knows what to believe, he knows what to say, he knows what to feel, he knows what he should do and he knows what they all hope. His face shallow and somber, while I bubble on the inside like an unscrewed can. The perfect actor in a perfect world. I, the unknown muse without a soul. I am a voice in the master's head.

Soft puckered lips move like a machine, they all are blind to his superficial faults. They see his glowing halo around his hair, they see fake wings rising out of a strong heaving back, they see courage and power seeping through his veins. I see the monotone conversions, the passionless blushes and one-dimensional kisses; I see the cracks in that personified dream. And yet I dwell alone, beneath that shadowed pessimism of his mind. His true meanings gone unnoticed like the flowers lying beneath the stone.

I wish he were to realize who I am.

I drink what he drinks, I sleep like he does, I dream his fantasy, I speak his tongue, I wake his every breath, yet I settle the unseen observer.

My lips gone dry, his lips crack. His breath is caught, I smile knowing why. He runs into the bathroom, burgundy carpet crushed under his sweating feet. He faces the mirror, and I stare back.

'Took you long enough.'

Harry Potter. Harry Potter. Harry Potter.

'who are you really, Mr. Potter?'

all while, I stare back.
