Chapter 1
The air was fresh and cool, as the moonlight softly illuminated the dark streets of Domino. The smell of freshly bloomed cherry blossoms was strong in the breeze as her long golden hair swept gently across her face. Her soft milky white skin in the star light, gave the illusion of fine ivory, and her sparkling emerald eyes carried the reflections of a small glistening drop of dew falling from the delicate petals of a crimson red rose. She wore a small green tank top that exposed her mid-drift, that was covered by a black leather trench coat and a pair of black glove that had the fingertips cut off. She wore a pair of long black pants and knee high boots, over her legs and feet as she walked slowly through a puddle of rain water on the ground. Her boots made soft stepping sounds over the cobble stone path that zigzagged through the Domino park.
Her delicate yet strong features, gave her the impression of a young woman who was healthy and well built. She, however, was a bit skinnier than average and had a slender and curved body. She wore a black choker around her neck with a rectangular red locket attached to it, the locket was fairly large, about the size of a playing card. Her face portrayed no expression as she wondered throughout the deserted park. She looked to be deep in thought and remained silent, like a shadow in the night. She was about five feet six inches tall, and about fifteen years old. Though she looked as though she were eight teen or nine teen.
Hey there cup cake." A deep male voice called out darkly from out of the night, "What's the rush?"
Yeah, don't ya know you're not suppose to be out passed your bed time?" Another asked.
She stopped walking and remained silent and expressionless as five large men approched her from all angles. They had devious grins on their ugly faces and one with a cigarett in his mouth and a knife in his left hand approched her from the front and blew a smoke ring in her face. The girl's eyes narrowed.
Hi ya cutie pie. What's a hot ckick like you walking around the park this late at night for?" He asked as the other four laughed.
The girl gave a small smile, "Do I need a reason?" She asked in a sarcastic tone.
The man laughed, "Ha, no, I guess not." Then he moved in closer, "How about we take a walk together?" He asked.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'd rather walk alone." She replied smiling.
