Chapter 1: AHHHH!!! SUMMER'S OVER!
The worst day ever. The last day of summer. No scams. No insults. No Nazz lounging. No Sarah and Jimmy playing with dolls. No Kevin on his bike. No Johnny talking to Plank. No Rolf saying stupid old world sayings. No Kankers chasing Eds. No nothing. Everyone was inside moaning. It was the end of summer. The start of school. The only one that was out was, of course, Double D. He was overjoyed.
The next morning, Eddy was at his worst. Ed had slept under his bed the night before because he was getting money that he lost to get a portable TV to watch Slurp-U-La. He really got one to. The other kids weren't much better. Johnny didn't mind. But Plank did. And Double D kept trying to influence his friends. "Cheer up, Eddy! School is fun when not taken lightly!" Eddy wouldn't buy that. "You know what, Sockhead? SHUTUP!!!" Double D got annoyed. "Fine. I see it's just me that will be happy over the next 9 months." Ed was in his own little world now. Watching Slurp-U-La. "CAR ALARM, SLURP-U-LA, CAR ALARM!!! HOORAY!!!" Kevin was extremely pissed off. "Grr. SHUTUP YOU GOD DAMN RETARDED DORK!!!" Everyone gasped. "See, Sockhead. Everyone's pissed." Double D sighed and walked on the bus.
