Something wants to get the keybearers on its side. But why? And this girl, Kairi's new or not so newfound friend. Is she a keybearer too? Wait and find out! This takes place after Sora fights Riku and almost defeats Maleficent.
Aurora: Hi everyone! It isn't my first time writing a fan fic. I have another file but that is ancient history! I like this one even though there is really no difference. Anyway enough about me! Oh I just forgot I don't own Kingdom Hearts or Square Soft.
It was the middle of the night and everything was quiet nothing was stirring. Well I would say not even a mouse but that would be lying wouldn't it? And besides not everything is quiet. Sora is having a nightmare and this is how it went.
"Sora. Can you find me in time?" Came a hoarse voice.
"In time for what?" Asked Sora.
"You will have to find me first." Came the voice again.
Sora could hear footsteps but had no idea where they were coming from.
"How can I if I can't see a thing!?!" Yelled Sora.
"Can you find yourself?" It asked.
"What are you!" Sora demanded. He summoned his Keyblade.
"I wouldn't do that." It said.
Before Sora knew it the Keyblade had vanished right out of his hands.
"Hey!" He yelled. "You still didn't answer my question! What the hell are you?"
"Temper, temper." It teased.
"Tell me!" Sora pretty well screamed it out.
"I am you!" It yelled.
And with that Sora awoke.
On another world Donald and Goofy confronted King Mickey at his throne.
"Your majesty, we must talk of you know what." Said Donald.
"Yes we must." Replied Mickey.
"Sir, we think it is going to attack Destiny Islands." Said Goofy.
"Yes, yes. I know. And you two shall not help Sora by going over there. I think they can handle themselves. I need both of you here." King Mickey said.
"Of course your majesty." Donald said.
Goofy and Donald bowed then left.
"I definitely will need you here." King Mickey whispered to himself.
Back on Destiny Islands, Kairi and Sora are walking along side the beach. When Sora finally spoke up. It was early afternoon.
"Kairi? Can I tell you something?" Sora asked.
"Of course Sora. That's what friends are for." Kairi answered.
"Okay. Well I had a dream and." Sora started to say.
"Sora? I don't mean to be rude but maybe you should talk to someone else about this, because I don't know what I can do to help." Kairi said.
"What, do you mean Riku?" Asked Sora.
"No. I mean, this girl I meet." Kairi said looking down.
"Where and when?" The brunette boy asked.
"She lives in the Secret Cave and I meet her just after we got back here." She said.
"Oh." Said Sora not knowing what to say. "I guess I can tell her. But I would like to at least tell you first."
"Okay Sora. I'm listening." Kairi said. "But now that I think of it, shouldn't Riku know too?"
"Kairi. I don't really trust him yet." Sora stated.
"To tell you the truth Sora, I think I can't either. Just not yet anyway. The only person I really trust is you." Kairi said.
'Well if that's the way they want to be, then I won't stay here. At the next chance I have I will leave.' Riku thought. Not knowing they didn't trust him anymore. Tears welled up in his eyes as he tried to fight them back. 'Why did I want to talk to them anyway?' He thought to himself. 'Oh well, doesn't matter anymore.'
