Chapter 1

As the pale moonlight flowed through the streets of Domino, Japan, a sweet cool breeze blew through the air gently sweeping her long golden blond hair across her face as she slowly walked on the cobble stone path that moved swiftly through the park. She was a silent as the darkness in the sky and blended into it like a shadow, her long black trench coat and her black knee high boots camouflaged her within the night. Her bright emerald green eyes shown reflections of a small shimmering drop of silver dew that few from a crimson red rose, almost like a tear that one would shed after a long awaited and passionate kiss fell upon their lips. She walked calmly through a puddle of long fallen rain on the ground with out a single emotion on her face. The front of her coat was open to revile a light green tank top exposing her mid drift and a pair of long black pants, of which at the bottom, were tucked into her tall boots. And a pair of black glove covered her hands with the fingertips of the gloves were cut off exposing long pale finger nails.

She had her hair tied back by a black colored hair tie that was at the bottom or her golden hair. She looked to be deep in thought and walked around as though she had no real destination. The stars in the sky gave her pale white skin the illusion of finely polished ivory. The boldest thing about her besides her hair and eyes, was a black choker she wore around her neck with a rectangular locket hanging from it. It was about the size of a playing card and it's bright red color made it stand out ever more. Then she suddenly stopped short, and closed her eyes for a moment.

"You can come out now." She said, "And stop following me like you have."

Then from out of the shadows four large men appeared, all had devious grins on their faces and were laughing silently to themselves. Then a larger man appeared, from behind one of the trees in front of the blond haird girl. He was the biggest of the five now, and twirling a silver bladed knife in his hand.

"Hi ya there little girl. Aren't ya out a little passed your bed time?" He laughed coming closer to her, far enough so last she could feel his breath. "What's a pretty girl like you doing out here anyway?" He asked.

"Do I need a reason?" She asked sarcastically but keeping a tint of seriousness in her voice.

"Hmm, guess not...." He said as he slowly circled her. "How about I escort ya to your destination. I mean that would be the gentleman like thing to do." He said stopping just behind her.

"Well, sorry to bust you bubble, kind sir, but I'll have to decline." She said with a bit of a laugh in her voice. "And I suggest that if you value your lives and health, that you go away."
