She struggled to steady her shaky hands, her heart wrenched as she looked at the picture she now held. All though this photo was flimsy and battered, you could still see the two children arms linked, smiles on their faces. Her vision was cloudy, due to the tears that filled her eyes. Alex still remembered the way things were back then, when her and Denton Van Zan were just little kids. So young so innocent; if only they new what lied ahead. Their forgotten laughter echoed in her mind, haunting her very soul. A sharp pain filled her chest, letting out a deafening gasp her knees gave out and she fell to the ground. Still grasping the picture tightly she uncontrollably sobbed, what would she due without him.
