Author's Note: Ok everyone this is my first attempt at an InuYasha fanfic
so don't flame me too bad. Ok well this story is dedicated to my awesome
buddy Vegeta! That's for listening to all my stories Chris! It really
helped me out. Well enjoy the first part of the story, there is more to

I sat on the slightly cobbled dirt floor and closed my eyes in a deep meditated thought. I closed my senses and became aware of my surroundings, the creek told me its story the birds sang me their song, and the forest recited the tales of their past and their secrets. The sun grazed me a little with its warmth and I felt its hot presence on my skin. My ears became fully aware of all the sounds around me, every turn of the wind, every snap of a twig. My ears twitched at the sound of unfamiliar footsteps coming towards me, I squinted my eyes as I slowly opened them to see the owner of the sound. I turned around to see the figure of a girl, she looked at me, shocked I suppose, but yet she continued to proceed coming closer to me. She was a priestess I figure of a holy stature, but way was she coming closer to me, a demon. I blinked a few times to make sure the image before me was real. She kneeled down beside me and looked at me with a heart filled with love. I cocked my head to the side in confusion, she brought her hand up to my face slowly and I jerked back not knowing what else to do. She stroked the side of my face then rubbed my ears; I raised an eyebrow and continued to stare at her. She had me memorized, never had anyone ever touched me like she did. I was frightened by this feeling so I pulled away from her. The way the light touched her hair made her look somewhat angelic I felt intimated around her, weakened by her beauty and grace. She continued to look at me ever so sweetly; she studied my face then came out with a smile.
"My name is Kikyo what's yours?"
She spoke to me, she told me her name, Kikyo.but should I tell her mine? She might condemn me to hell if she learns that I am half demon half human, the human girl was toying with my mind with her spell. I leapt up from my spot and landed in the nearest tree branch. She rose to her feet and looked up the sky shielding her eyes from the blinding sun. I stood up in the tree leaning against the trunk.
"My name.is InuYasha." And after I told her I took off not lingering there long enough for her to ask me another question.
As time passed the priestess girl Kikyo grew on me, her affection and love of everything slowly got to me. It was all new for me, a fresh experience that I had never acknowledged. I got to learn about her though; she was guarding the sacred jewel. This jewel was not like any other jewel, this jewel held great power and with that power came great evil. No one could purify the jewel but Kikyo knew a spell and so far was doing a good job with it. I wanted the jewel so that I could accomplish my desire of becoming a full demon but she would not let me have it. In fact my pathetic attempts of trying to reach the jewel is the reason we came to be together. In realizing my feelings for her I promised her that I would use the jewel to become a full human so that we could live together and she wouldn't have to worry about protecting the jewel anymore. But something did not go right that day and that's why I am here on this tree. An arrow shot through the air and bound me to it. I'm stuck her for eternity I can never leave and I can't even awake I am a lifeless demon bound forever to this damn tree until someone will come a long and free me.
The only question that runs through my head is why hasn't Kikyo come to free me? Is she alright? What the hell happened!
