Nothing to Believe in

Chapter 1
Matthew was a normal young man. He was a photographer, and he took great pride in his work. In order to get paid, he had to turn up with some really good pictures.

He packed his camera and some film, and headed off to silent hill. He got a letter from his aunt there, telling him that the scenery was beautiful and that he could get a raise with the pictures. It was with great excitment that he began his journey.

It took half an hour to get to Silent Hill, since he had to go slow because of the fog. Once he arrived, he parked that car on the Observtory Deck and had to walk the rest of way on foot.

He took his time, taking some pictures of the foggy, yet beautiful scenery. While Matt was walking down the path, he could have sworn that he heard the rustling of branches behind him. But whenever he stopped to look, it stopped.

He just walked on, pretending that bothersome, evil, annoying noise wasn't there...

Then Matt ran! He ran so fast to get away from that noise he felt he was flying!

He ran to a gate and opened it, went through a locked it. The gate started to bang like someone was trying to get in... Matt, without another thought on the subject, ran down the rest of the street to the town of Silent Hill...

The town was silent, as it's name suggested, but too quiet. There were no cars on the street, no people, nothing. The street signs were stil working, which was strange. He snapped a few shots of the spooky shot, knowing it was worth cash.

He walked around, he forgot to find out where his aunt actually lived...

"What the Hell is going on?"

His interest in making money withered. He decided that he had to figure out what was going on, or more importantly, how to escape. With that invisible monster at the gate, he had to find a 'back door.'
